With debt reduced to pre Covid levels and a growing/returning customer base due to pent up demand - hopefully divis will be reinstated at some time in the foreseeable future. I’m digging deep to stump up the funds for the RI, still plenty of debt so I hope there isn’t another RI any time soon. The dilution will make a big impact on the share price short term but I’m looking five years ahead. Just my strategy/opinion though.

Is Barc will fluctuate between 1.35 and 1.45 for the next couple of weeks and then slowly rise and pull back - to eventually steady at around 1.60 for a month or two. It’ll be a while ‘til we get close to two quid again (but get there it will). All just my opinion though.

TEMPTATION…. As Oscar Wilde said. Under 1.40 was too much for me…. in for a few quid @ 1.39. Probably live to regret it but calling bottom is never easy with Barcs. Time will tell??

If remember correctly…. Just when Barcs was settling down after the financial crisis of 2008, we had the 2013 RI (wasn’t a third of the raised cash handed out as bankers bonuses?), then Brexit hung over the share like a dark cloud, for years and when that was sorted Covid hit us and divis were suspended by the Old Lady, then the war in Ukraine… then fears of a severe recession. Yeah quite a few years it has been - Will Barcs ever see its share rise up and reward us for our patience? I’m getting older now and time is running out :)

It seems the market was expecting more of a tax hammering, it’s the uncertainty that has held the share price lower IMO, now that it is gone (for the moment) CNA will hopefully rise up and be a bit less volatile.

Mmmm, interesting one, a great company for a great price, the housing market has been a safe bet for many years - but we are entering the start of a financial problem not seen for forty odd years.
If the speculation that “it’s gonna be worth more tomorrow than it is today” leaves the housing market will “buy to let landlords” dump property onto the market to realise great gains, will rents default to pay fuel bills? Will first time buyers hold off for a cheaper deal in a years time? Questions I’m asking myself before investing. All just my opinion. Good luck to all. I’m still watching this tempting as it is.

I don’t think a divi will be paid soon as it is a bit of a hot potato with the rise in the cost of living being so prevalent…. As much as I would like to see it, I feel we may have to wait a bit longer until things settle down. It could be a while unfortunately IMO.

The markets drop and Centrica stays the same price, mediocre interim results are released and Centrica stays the same price… up or down a penny or two. I’ll give CNA one thing, it’s constant. I’m impressed.

This could hold up at around 1.30 for a while, hopefully when good financials are reported we will slowly rise up…. KIE is still unsteady, nerves will settle over time. IMO.

Topped up with a few more yesterday. Huge infrastructure projects to be built post COVID-19, as long as Costain’s margins are profitable this stock will rise over the long term. IMO.

Something will ignite Centrica, pardon the pun. It may take time, when it does these will rise. Similar to what RMG has done and BT is doing now…just gotta be patient. This is the ground floor for this stock. IMO.

Well done to all, a good profit….I’m holding long term, but time will tell if that’s a worthy strategy…what’s gonna happen Monday - is all the profit taking over? When will KIE stabilise and hopefully rise up? It’ll be an interesting week.

Forget the mice, with a successful portfolio like that he definitely earns his keep :)
