*some investors not all within the collective "you"* Given how quickly tension has escalated in recent weeks it shows how unpredictable protests can become and how soon. Riot police can seem excessive after the fact if things died down rather than became worse... Glad to have a local voice input and add to the mix irrespective.
Nice rebound, sure, but I'm not clear on what the 'fruits' of Patryk's conversation were.... other than "permits are coming, I promise". I remain in at the same level before any accusations of gamesmanship arise :)
Perhaps explains why the drop hasn't significantly increased. Geo-politics versus whoever comes out the other side desperately needing $ in lieu of Venezuela's petro-dollars drying up MC desperately unlucky and must have El Salvador on his mind... "time kills deals".
With the updated mine design, ongoing social work/training for long term gain and promise of jobs that pay fantastic money in a historic mining town, why would there be such a level of anti mine sentiment? If needing to relocate, sure. But now?
4/5 Ministry meets - relocation of plant, barrier etc meaning "pretty much happy" with results (so still small change?) 5% ish impact ~ 80k p/a mine B2Gold running mine plans and scheduling on pit angles etc in draft stage Final site inspection with 15 people 4 weeks ago Training 300 people on site at the moment (120 completed already) 7x increase on average salary in area with the mine Buying off artisinal miners to eradicate mercury ("government encouraging") $25k per month spent on community (!!) "we're all about the permits right now" "would love to think we'll get permits by Summer" Pretty much confirmed top level of Mestiza... .700k from Russians
No, I think that's what MC is trying to say... 100x from here would be fair value if we had 5m of reserve ounces Add on however many caveats you want here - actually finding rather than suggesting 3m more oz, geopolitics, inferred v reserve, recoverable oz... But he's anchoring to a "top line" valuation that points out how much room there is to grow... will CNR survive in its current form to ever reach that 100x... But permits first eh :)
"very positive at looking to get to 5m oz"... "$6bn+ MCap on this type of project"... haha I love the upside thinking and mentioning the current $45m MCap :) Final remarks... "it's all about permits but am confident on breakthrough... 12 months of studies but will add 1m of oz... then scout drilling to prove yet more ounces out there to take us to 5m oz" Input welcomed
Final site inspection via 3 Ministries plus the British Ambassador... "I think we are very close to permits, particularly at this AISC"... salaries at mine 6x to local jobs, 3.5x to national average is a big incentive with 90% of the community wanting this to go ahead. Major movement this week.
