The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I think one of my questions, if this has not already been asked, is how much condensate are we getting per day? If this has been an absolute pain timewise to remove due to quantity then it make actually prove to be quite profitable? Appreciate the original column would have contained brine etc but moving forward?
To be fair Gordon I did see that trade on L2 (quote stream) at around 10am but understand you questioning it if that trade has since disappeared of here. Very strange.
14 millions no biggy though, one PI dumping..
Let see what happens tomorrow.
Eagle, you'll have to remind me what I said about you?? and as for Zag... I believe we have conversed today with the utmost politeness for each other so I am unsure of your comment and it's intensions unless your confusing me with someone else? If its a poke, there is no bear here are the moment, I am happy with what I hold and what I have in reserve and await whatever news arrives.
Zag, assuming you sold 15 million last week at the time of selling you would have received between 0.115 or.12. If you try to buy in now, you will have to pay 11.5 which means there has been no gain.
If news tomorrow is poor, then you have played a blinder, if news is good tomorrow, then, unfortunately you will not be able to make the profit you might have.
It’s just like the rest of us, it’s all down to what the news outcome is
I’m pretty sure that like I, many are holding a little bit back, if news, tomorrow is good, again, we won’t make so much of a profit had we gone all in, but there has to be a measure of what one is willing to invest with uncertainty and what one is willing to invest with certainty. Let’s hope it’s good news and we can all top up.
He has 48hrs, so still some time to increase the flow rates, clearly we are looking for a headline flow rate as long as everything is stable with the well. It may also be that the blue chip company are watching, waiting for a specific target rate to be reached, who knows, we might even have reached it. Not long now...
Espen, you have been very quiet, and I haven’t noticed another TR1😊
Can only presume you’re quietly confident.
If this does work, I’m pretty sure there will be a flood of money coming into here, as I assume long-term holders will have held a little back just in case
Zag
As per my post, I suggested anything around 0.5 would be a good stable flow rate, I am not a professional in the field and so cannot advise what the margin would be below that, although I cannot expect it to be a disaster if something like 0.45+ achieved
As has been previously discussed below in this thread, if its less than 0.5 justifiable design for achieving profit would be required.
So what are we expecting in terms of flow rates? Personally I would be over the moon with stable flow rates around 0.5 mmscfd and if we get close to 1 mmscfd that would be exceptional.
Stable rates close to 0.5 mmscfd would prove up the well with multiple fracked side tracks.
Zag are you trying to create a stampede?
You’re already sitting on a loss with the sale of your shares, I’m not sure that is the best business model to make money.
Nothing bad has happened here. The column of condensate will shortly be removed and synergy will be stabilising flow rates at which point they will report. I do not understand why anyone would hold all this way to sell prior to the finish line when it’s in sight.
Good luck to all those holding, we have all the correct kit on site, the right team on site, and as far as I’m concerned, the right man at the helm.
10 days prior to question time with Roland, he’s not going to want to come up empty-handed.
