Feels very reminiscent of elsewhere that drop. Just a chance to shake out anyone at the last minute and pick up some shares before the bounce.
Hope you all held. I did.
That's the hope Chester (I hope we are all smiling tomorrow). I've doubled up here and optimistic of the outcome.
Finally we are coming up to the deadline for the FDA Approval. I am sure it will be given without any issues. My only wonder is whether we will hear tomorrow or the next day (given the time difference between here/US).
Either way, should be good things in the coming days/weeks/months.
I just bought £10ks worth at around 78. So it was me that pushed it up to there. While I hope it doesn't spike short term, I also don't mind paying a little extra for what I think is coming.

Great start, also feels like the pull back isn't that strong, so hopefully upwards from here. Certainly should get some fear of missing out with the FDA approval imminent.
I've had a little in here for a while (from around 43p - post end of July rise). Had my eye on it back in October 2019, so wish I'd bought then, but such is life.
I bought more today, simply because the news is coming and I want to be in before it arrives. I guess there are a few others like me.
I see my whole holding now as long term, with the intention of being here when we get back to the 200s.
Hope all here are doing well, and well done to those who got in back in the 20s.

Yeah... Except it also applies the other way round (Mrs B has info, so Mr B cannot trade)...
If it was just against wives sure, you'd have an argument for sexism there. It might not be the best rule, but its not sexist...
£300 mill is definitely nothing for large pharma.
When I was at GE healthcare they used to ask staff if they knew of small companies they could buy, just for the IP. They considered anything sub £350 mill as 'small'.
I think you'd want to check first... just because its OK in your blood, doesn't necessarily mean you want to breath it in.
Granted, in this case you do.. but its still right for them to follow protocol and not just approve a new application immediately because one application is OK.
That said, I can't see it taking long though, and the available data already will probably be enough.
Better still would be
Do not be fooled. Hold.
Is there meant to be a comma in there?
Do not be fooled, and hold...?
It's ambiguous. Might be the problem. You are saying do not hold.
"On a separate note the 79% improvement was on uk people and not overseas individuals so immune systems come to play .... it really is 50/50."
That's not even close to accurate. There might be some slight differences, but nowhere near 50/50. Humans are biologically virtually identical, especially with regards to key systems (like immune systems). Of course some differences have been shown between certain groups with regards to COVID infections (for example), but there is not enough data to suggest this is purely biological (and not environmental/social), and these differences are not close to 50%.
Additionally, 'UK people' does not mean white/british, or any other demographic. We're a mix ourselves.
If it works well enough, then you have a very good idea, but it will require more numbers to be 'proven' (as they have started). These results are so strong though, that even if it does drop by a bit it would still be astronomical.
Morning all. I don't post here often anymore, mainly due to the regular disruption from various people, but I wanted to say a quick well done to all LTHs, and to say I look forward to the coming weeks, with lots of positive news still to come.
Can't blame anyone for giving some stick to the botflies, but remember (as I have failed to do in the past) the best retort is to repeat the abundant positive information here, or to ignore them completely.
Enjoy the fireworks, whenever they do arrive.
Ha. Sam....
Yep. Global pandemic. Reduced capacity. Reduced function.
Name checks out...
"Short sellers provide a valuable service to the market whilst accepting unlimited risk. They provide liquidity, they aid price discovery and are buyers when prices are crashing."
So how do those markets which ban them cope?
That's just smoke from all the furious mining.
