I'm not overly confident after that RNS, but what I have in here is on a free ride in any case from the original rise. I took plenty out before that too, so if I lose it I lose it, I hope I don't, and I hope others in here still are comfortable with what they have and haven't overstretched. Best of luck to all.
I think it's the same number of posts before minus the 15 a minute from sharebel. Still a wait and see for me here. I have my shares, I look forward to the updates.
Certainly feels like Shareabel has moved on, which even though I am invested here, I'm not too upset by. The outrageous ramping doesn't help.
Shame to see it dropping today, but perhaps not too unexpected. I still feel like we're due a rise into the deadline.
There is absolutely no reason they would feel a need to whip up the interest. If they're engaged in an RTO, they don't have any reason to care about the SP before that event, the value will come in the deal. I'm not saying there definitely will be news, but the fact there hasn't been so far is neither surprising nor concerning to me.
I think anyone sensible here knows it is a gamble. The downside is total loss, the upside is unknown. I have money in here I can afford to lose. But if it pays off, I expect it to be a nice earner for me.
Roger, I don't think that is too contrary. I think you put forward a decent counter argument. The situation here is that we are trying to estimate the risk Vs the reward. While you see the risk as higher because they are being paid a pound, I see that as lower for the same reason. For me, these guys are professionals with good track records. That they will come into this role, and have it on their record, and accept a nominal payment, suggests they have a plan in place. Otherwise, what is the point, and what is the benefit? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see some director buying, and some other activity, but in a lot of these cases they are limited by the insider trading rules and are unable to purchase in the run up to an acquisition (in this case an RTO, but it amounts to the same thing). The silence is an issue, and I would love to hear from them. They mentioned multiple opportunities before, so I remain hopeful this will come to something.
As for where we settle, I'm working off the MCap. This is low right now. Any RTO will very likely increase this significantly. What benefit that brings to the SP will depend on any dilution as part of the deal, etc. but I remain very hopeful that this would be a decent chunk higher from here.
Ultimately it is a gamble, but this share moves when it moves, and it won't take a lot of additional interest coming in to settle significantly higher. Looking at the false starts since the new directors came in, it is clear there are people watching this. Of course I don't know what will happen, as is true with you, but I am personally comfortable with things as they are.
I'm not overly surprised that it is doing this. Expected it to start to get a bit more volatile as we approach deadline day. I remain hopeful that it will settle higher than this (I'm thinking around 3p) for the actual deadline. It is clearly a risk, but at the same time, these directors weren't appointed on £1 salaries for a giggle, they expressed their plans and multiple opportunities, and they appointed a new NOMAD. So the signs are good enough for me to accept the risk with a given amount. Others will no doubt feel the same. The MCap is super low, so the upside is significant for a good deal.
Calm it down Sharebel. Your OTT posting here is likely to be quite off putting for potential investors, which is damaging to all of us. It comes across as extremely rampy. If you're a genuine investor, then calm down as it doesn't help, but even if you're just a P&D ramper, then use your brain and calm down as it will be a more effective strategy in the long run...
I know it will be ignored. But I really would like to ask that the extreme views on either side are just calmed right down this week. No it's not going to 20p, no it's not going to 0p. It will go somewhere, while people take positions for the impending deadline. I hope that is higher than here. I hope that reflects confidence that a decent RTO is in the works. But it'll be much nicer to wait for news without all the BS on both sides. Have a good week all.
But then you're also asking them to listen to you, who doesn't think this is going anywhere but inexplicably posts here everyday....? You can't trust anyone with an agenda. But at least shareabel wants this to go up.
I'm not too surprised at a little pull back, but I think this is the start of a more sustained rise into news.
I don't think anyone will be fooled by such a blatant deramp.
We knew things would get interesting as we approach the late September deadline. People taking positions perhaps.
If you could buy more, say around £10-15 millions worth, that would be champion. :)
Looking at just the first page of your post history, you have also warned FAB, DEMG, ORCA, TAST, BIRD, RCGH and GST holders.
Aren't you just quite the altruist...?
Anyone with half a brain will look at your post history and see the same post across many different shares. Just give up, nobody is falling for your rubbish.
The temptation to throw more in here is very real...
We know we will get news in the very short term (weeks). I'm trying to stick to my guns and just keep in my punt on this, but it the FOMO is real. haha.
It really shifts when it goes doesn't it?
Great posts HeresHopin. Completely agree. As it drops back down I might put more in, but anything in here is as a bit of a punt for a big RTO. But we have to be realistic about the actual prospect of multi-bagging from here and the potential for nothing to come from it. But that's part of the fun right...?
They're on every board, just spamming their pump. It is ridiculous. They're either a pumper or super desperate.
It's the mentality of short-term holders/traders. As soon as the shine has gone off a crazy rise, they move on. If it doesn't go up at least 10% each day, then there is the creeping fear and then selling. But as you say, this is a limited time situation, and the upside if significant. But if it keeps dropping, it will be hard for me not to get more...
