.got back last night and had a good lunchtime sesh at me local, an now lokin fwd to the man city game in a bit. I ain’t no technical expert but from listening in on chats which many times went over me head, the lithology wos and these fb reservoirs in gen are clearly extremely complex structurally an difficult to evaluate, an understanding/correlating all the info hur now have ain’t straightfwd folks...but then again, who realistically thought it was gonna be. Yes some mistakes have been made it appears, both at the sharp end an back in hq/findept but thise that think that this is not gonna be a success commercially or is gonna be sold off anytime soon in the next yr, are imo plane wrong, ditto about it watering out – yes there are uncertainties/challenges ahead but the future of RR is vpromising imo. An I think the big boys think so too. I’m a lth and whilst it’s uncomfortable at the mo circa 5p, ia m in no doubt this will in time recover..altho rises will of course be sold into by those whove bought at these levels, so I’m not expecting it to fly quickly back to previous highs. I ain’t negative ‘bout the bod either tbh, think we need to give em a bit of time to show their worth, onwards an upwads from here. shame really the rev ain’t here to organise on the bb an eoy charity sweepstake for the sp, I enjoyed seein peoples guesses last time. anyways gla
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and all this imo of corse, but hur have learnt a helluva lot over last 14 months – sometimes in life you learn a lot more when things don’t go exactly to plan an this is true here. Turn the clock back and the drill bit would’ve bin placed differently on both fields an’ not havin the dosh to be able to immediately redrill the basement, means we have to make the best of where we currently are – but this ain’t a disaster and co still learning a lot…plus we will soon be crankin prod’n up a little more, to again suss stuff out for eoQ121 cpr. I don’t know what detail goes on atbod level but gen feeling is vpositive about LT commercial prod’n from wosfb an’ that a hur takeover is alongway off until a lot more testing complated and data in GLA
You’ve upset a few lads here little man…you may thik youre untouchable as a keyboard warrior butone of the bosses here knows someone at lse, so heres hoping one of these days one of us catches up with you
On nightst his wk an’ b4 I put me head down decided to top up with 50956 more of these @ this crazy price…yeah know im apparently fkin ‘deluded’ according to some mouthy bb twat…but he can go screw hisself. Oh yeah and just did what a few more knoeledgeable investors here have advised a few times an’ put a high limit order on all me an the missus’ shares to stop ‘em being loaned out to shorters..should a done it ages ago GLA
Had a good chinwag over scran tonight with the lads an’ we’ve all gone for 100quid each in the pot for best guess q4 eoy hur sp..I’m about in the middle with my 16p…all agreed next big legup will be towards end of Q1/21 an’ no doubt we’ll be havin another punt on that as well – I’ll be going for 22p+ for the next bet…and way things are going, all are vconfident we’ll be back into the 40’s by Q3/21 GLA/KTF
Crazy sp right now, but this seems to be a fairly regular occurrence here on AIM tbh… so a big shame we didn’t escape the mm’s and get to the main mkt during Trice’s time. Just imo of course, but I reckon there’s a few very positive rns’ on their way over the next 10 weeks, as things are going very well indeed at the sharp end…so keep the faith folks. GLA
There’s a significant disconnect between what’s actually happening offshore…and the current sp – a couple of RNS in coming weeks re update/fwd plans should have quite a +ve impact – all imo of course. GLA
Had an interesting chat on zoom last night with a few of my mates about where things are at with hur and the next few years - everyone expects a covid19 #2 which is certainly going to affect oil demand/the global energy mkt over the winter – but when we get on the other side of the pandemic, there was a very strong feeling that there will be a shortage of spare capacity and that the opposite to the unprecedented negative oil prices of 20/4/20 will occur around the same time in ‘21. All sorts of figures were bandied about and everyone thought 3 figs was likely for a while , but even taking a more conservative $85/bl, hur could have enough set aside to fully redeem the bonds at par…with just 160 days prod’n, if they can get levels up by next spring to say, 22,000 bl/day. My mate at b/water reckons there’s been blood on the walls at hur hq and T is on gardening leave/the payroll for 6mths to stop him causing trouble for the co, by talkin in the press/selling shares etc – but that aside there is a real positivity that we will move fwd through these uncertain times, clarify the water position/increase prod’n above 20k for 6mths, running at that level to provide key info for the march cpr update..get the financial benefit of a spike in poo next year..and that hur will now likely be sold off, H2 ’22 – lots of scenarios were discussed and 2 price ranges came out of that: a low offer in the 25-45p range…and a high offer in the 65-85p range..too much detail gone into to post on here..shame really that you can’t post sound recordings on here as I’m sure folks would’ve enjoyed listening to the discussion, whether they agreed with parts of it or not…prob a good idea that we cant like as we could be identified from our voices, without some distortion tool bein used. GLA
Really lookin fwd to Bev Smith’s FAP RNS in next month or so...an hopefully soon after, a positive demo to all s/h’s of her presentation skills in mapping out the way fwd an how we are going to ramp up prod’n from hopefully, as soon as this autumn… a rapid re-rate once the FAP is out is a distinct probability.. and imo then again, once prod’n levels and income/profits are significantly enhanced GLA
Inevitable changes continuing as co needs a different bod in 2020 to totally amend plans/targets. Previous incumbent upset many people in an out of the co in last 18mths and had no intention of ever selling hur..wanted big bonuses and to keep exploring/playing if an when lanc et al sold off..so s/h’s never really on the radar. From today a diff focus methinks and the obstacle to Shell/BP buying hur now removed…but those who think it’ll be sold off for buttons are very wrong imo. This will now be run as a business and shareholder value will be top of the agenda b4 a prob hur total sale 21/22. GLA
Bin peripherally involved this trip in some brill offshore discussions about poo an’ hur, which has really clarified for me, all the potential outcomes/options available, after this 1st wave of c’virus comes to an end. I hadn’t really understood b4, the impact/damage these lengthy shut-ins are likely to have on future supply/ field production world-wide – an’ while its gonna take some while for high levels of storage to dissipate etc, and while there’s also likely to be a 2nd wave of c’virus sometime, nonetheless at some point, it’s more likely than not, that in the next 6-12mths there will be a supply/demand imbalance and a big spike in poo. Also general consensus was that hur sp will remain sub 20p for now, if, as seems likely, more drills an’ doubling of the AM oil throughput not happening for a while now due to need to keep cash balances available to maintain co financial security, during these difficult times. The feeling was that by end of year FB will be proved up (it IS perched water folks!), an’ a really huge increase in reserves early ’21, will be followed by a FFD plan for Lanfax by end of first quarter next year, for cracking on with summer ’21, as OGA really now pushing for this. Further exploration by hur now extremely unlikely, an’ the group was 50:50 split about whether shell/bp will take a big chunk of Lanfax, or just buy hur out, lockstock an’ barrel. Personally, I now think it’ll be the latter, as there isn’t really a need for a tiny exploration co like hur once we’ve done our job and successfully brought FB to the UK. Anyway, be back home in a few hours an’ looking fwd to a few cold beers – looks like I’ve missed all the decent weather to sit out in the garden tho :-)? GLA
..with my usual cr-p timing topped-up recently at the wrong time, but hey-ho no-one saw this covid-19 coming - conversation over scran going on a few days agoabout the cmd an you may well be right bout it being cancelled but others who know a helluva lot more than me re IT stuff, were saying multicast(?) an web-conferencing was being considered as an optin by drT and team. ..anyways, hope it does go ahead an all the eps positives are put out there - think as well the oga are likely to be keen to get this an other projects producing more asap so that uk not reliant on oil imports in next 18mths..just in case...what a buy hur is at 8p, can't believe it's this low. ATB folks..an keep healthy! Just off out now to try an buy some bog-roll :-)
To all the doom-mongers…yeah I’m mad, don’t know what im doin…the water issue, eps is a disaster etc etc…but anyways, with the wifeys approval, just bought another 39k..so now we hold over a mill here. Yeah wil ‘ave lost all me money prob, cos fb don’t work in uk …but anyways, well’appy..an deffo me last buy as weve agreed that over a lunchtime bottle of el vino.. ATB folks!
couldn't resist at these crazy prices, so just had another small £2k top-up of 13264 shares...in 6wks this will recover quick, so a one-off opp imo to fill ya boots :-)
was goin to change me car this trip...but have just discussed it with the missus an decided to delay it a couple of months an 'ave another hur top-up :-) ...so just added another 99,459 at these crazy prices. ..sure the doomsters will say i'm mad, but hey, i'm well 'appy. ATB folks!
..wasn't that d******d Ashcroft wasit? :-)
Aduk,
Just seen your post as well mate….ha,ha
“..what the heck are you doing giving your wife the washing? Surely you’ve got a skivvy to take care of the laundry?”
The thing is, she loves watching ALL the soaps, Emmerdale/corrie/EE the lot….an I can’t stand em! So I’ve got her a big tv for the back room and she happily does all the ironing and catches up with em all, while I watch the footie in the other room.
Havin said that, I’ve made the big mistake of just showin her your post and she thinks it’s a great idea an why don’t we get someone in? What have you done to me mate!?! :-) :-) :-)
petethestreet,
ha,ha…just saw your post!
No, my other ‘alf… it’s not sippnoob…her name’s Christa…an’ I daren’t upset her cos she has more hur than me...450 to my now 400, but I’m slowly catchin her up!
I took a punt on Sirius when the sp collapsed recently an bought 500k @ about 4.1p, hoping it would recover an fly in a few years…very sad indeed for all the pi’s who have lost a fortune there like, but fortunately a mate of mine gave me good advice an so at least I’ve come away with a small profit – then have mulled it over the last few weeks an decided to top it up a bit an stick it all in here in hur, as I’m super-confident with this project. ATB mate.
Just got back this morning, kissed the missus (gave her all me washing!:-)), then went online an got another 30grands worth of these lil beauties...now got 850k of em at just over 24p ave. well ‘appy! Btw, the fools post y’day says it all folks…as pointed out to me. I didn’t ken that it was his bb, just sad that his having some success with all his ****….hes actually an idjut himself as per his water to Germany ****, but looks knowlegable when he copies an pastes in his name waht hes passed by the technical dept of a certain company. Don’t fall for it and pse don’t miss out on this when the sp rapidly recovers…ATB all.
Had an interesting chat over scran with one of the two high level visitors out here today…one of the lads asked him bout the hur sp as we’re all in it and he was friendly and informative, tho finance not my thing and a lot of it went over my head tbh, esp the complex stuff about bonds, never understood any of it :-) - apparently 24/25p was the support point for the sp back in ‘17 and whilst it may go just a tad lower, lot of confidence the sp will bounce back from round here. Seems tho’ that the fool has done his job re ‘water panic’ and lots of pi’s have capitulated and sold out at these levels and he commented there’s still quite a lot of supply coming thro at these levels at the mo’, so sp likely to hover round these crazy lows until more squeezed out…tho’ apparently we ain’t very far away from the supply dryin up and sp headin back up again…he said like that this had been some shakeout and no-one had seen this fall coming back at hq…an hopefully all will be rectified at cmd in march. After me an me mates recent sirius debacle, really hope he’s right..I always knew like that one was vhigh risk…my confidence in hur tho remains undiminished an I hope those pi’s who’ve been misled buy back in quick again when the sp heads north an don’t miss out on this lil beauty
