Redknight, of course Copper is and always will be a factor. No brainer because of the Copper World Inventory so skewed. At Solgold we play ALL 3 metals. At some point Silver might be THE metal. I say this because, Ag is playing (and always has) a more and more important role in Industry, specifically the Green Industry. and get's used up/consumed. I strongly believe in gold as a measure of security and holds it's value versus the USD since Bretton Woods in the 1970's, when Nixon uncoupled the Dollar and we are 60 years into a fiat currency, usually a life time to them.
We're in a good place! GLA

The kind of RNS we want to see is shown on the Condor (CNR) page of RNS's! That would be brilliant! Hope there are more RNS's from Solgold before the AGM! GLA
The price of gold has just hit a new all-time high. However, gold miners are trading well below their 2011 record high - see chart below.
What has caused this massive underperformance?
Let's look at some of the key reasons. ⚒️🪙
#gold #mining $GDX
Cost Inflation
We have seen a massive increase in the cost of mining over the last 15 years. Whether it is energy raw materials (e.g. diesel is important for open pit mines), lubricants, mining machinery, wages for miners and skilled workers, economic feasibility studies, permitting, exploration costs, etc. - most cost factors have increased tremendously.
The cost of producing gold has risen far more than the price of gold over the past few years, which has put corresponding pressure on profit margins. This is the main reason for the underperformance of many gold producers relative to the gold price, and particularly affects the senior gold producers
Clearly, there is some “catch-up” to take place. Similarly for Silver and Copper. So take your pick which will pay for the mine! Obviously ALL three rising significantly couple to events of the manipulators (of gold), the FED and cahoots! All IMHO, of course!!!
The highest bid for gold on Goldseek was $2143. The Italian's opinion was that we needed $2200/Oz for there to be an interest (in our Gold Reserves IN the ground - 26Million Oz) in Explorers with proven reserves. We are close and getting closer to even higher POG. And let me add, silver (with important Industrial value than gold) always follows and has not yet!
The Major Miners will be back to re-evaluate Cascabel, for sure!!!! GLA
Mulder, how do you see PAF's prospects post 2024 election?
- If the opposition win, it appears that coalitions do not work on a local level, and anc will do their best to make them ungovernable?
- if the anc win, a further collapse of fast collapsing country as a whole with cadre employment, fighting like hyenas for the scraps such as the new dish - NHI?
The Italian, thank you for your superb post. The Frank Guistra interview makes the case for how "out of fashion the PM Mining industry are" and have been for a considerable time. Today the POG opened at $2050/Oz on Goldseek. The trend is upwards in parallel to a rapidly changing world where the West is under the cosh! Note, payment for oil by certain Middle East Countries will soon be in Gold! The USD is topping and when the FED lowers Interest rates, starts to print more dollars and pivots, the POG can be expected to go ballistic. Payment of their debt their biggest problem. In all of this there could be a gigantic change in SENTIMENT towards PM Miners by investors realising the value of major miners!
You said previously: "Not before price of gold reaches $2200. We are only $150 short and the POG has been known to rise by a $100 at a time! So not far off!
I am hoping we will see a bid in the next 3 months!! Fingers crossed, GLA
Thanks for all your answers and opinions to my post on the 25th Nov at approx 22H00.
Some very varied opinions and arguments - and that is possibly one of the functions of a Board Like this!
having considered the options, I think I will vote for SC and avoid minimal but only the necessary changes to the Board Structure. Hopefully get a Bid and a Sale, then! LOL
GLA Eish
Bozi, you and the others (Eloro & DBW etc..) make very valid points and arguments. Should we vote for the Board and current CEO? Heck the visible advance for an exploration company mothballed sucks! No drilling anywhere?
This is confusing for me, a PI with a substantial investment here. Because, having been invested for probably 10 years and being an eternal optimist - I have only seen the "positive side", meaning Tier One, lots of excellent tenements, Good ESG policies, excellent Geologists etc...
But like Fort, now really becoming disillusioned and fear I may never see this coming to fruition and slowly dwindling to zero! Not helped by poor communication by Solgold Management in the main.
One kind of feels we are forced to vote for SC and the gang! And this probably angers many of us? So what will 40% plus of the voters who are PI's like me do? Just wondering?
If we get this wrong, we shoot ourselves in the foot! Yet, as always we PI's have no inkling of goings on behind closed doors! Could be on the cusp of a sale OR Majors drawing this out until our bank balance is near zero and we negotiate from a very weak hand.
Just wondering if there are more opinions on this choice. To vote (positive) Or NOT to vote (for this gang!) , thanks Shakespeare!

At 17 minutes guys
Red, your calculations give a great different perspective and insight beyond where we are right now. Correctly so and why not?
But, many PI's feel miserable at having been let down and tramped on with so many things that irk us in what we believe to be a "Good Investment" a Tier One and many Tenements of possible valuable mining sites. I will not regurgitate the long list of disappointments, we all know them!
But, if there is not real good news, there is sure to be a back lash from PI's.
Hubris Hunter on X has made a few interesting points but I must have cancelled the link, sorry. He is positive that much has really happening behind the scenes. I hope he is right.
Still feel aggrieved that $4Mil disappeared some time back and that $70Mil was spent in the space of months with no notification why, where and when! Just jolly poor communication, imho.
Good Luck All! We need it! LOL
SharketMare, I re-watched this interview. Somehow, all does not make sense.
We, an exploration company, is not (and he repeatedly said it!), we are NOT drilling = mothballed is the conclusion! Heck!
Yet the very downsized company having retrenched a significant size of the work-force from a year or two back, is sitting at their desks, having a "Think Again". Meaning tinkering with a feasible, affordable and may I say "attractive mine plan". Not sure what they want to do with such a mine plan if they are an exploration company? Said repeatedly!
They are not saying it, but perhaps their thinking is that they might apply for funding in 2024 to build a low cost operation? so it does make sense to get all the licences - either for themselves or for the next "Miner X, Y or Z"?
Is it fair to say that any company with an "Open Ended Strategic Review" does not know the way forward?
There is no mention of Tandayama, which is superficial. Also, why not news of what the Geologist in the field have observed? I mean there could be "Good News" on that front?
Solgold has left me in a state of frustration long, long ago, sadly. At this rate, my votes go somewhere else. My shares are worthless and in the bottom draw, not for sale. In the hope that the term TIER ONE has some meaning and not fallen on deaf ears to a Major/ Minor Miner! No LOL, this is not funny anymore!
