Stockable, the mines dumps PAF uses at Elinkhulu are in the Eastern Transvaal - Winkelhaak, Bracken, Kinross and Leslie - all old Glencor mines. I would presume other mine dumps are too far removed from Elinkhulu? I am aware that with the collapse of the railway system - the road network in places has deteriorated significantly. so cannot rely on a good road system in the future. Pumping coal to ESKOM plants is paramount via road haulage and even manganese is moved by road via Coega - no trains or reduced!
