Tiger, rather glad you have Zim in a bit more perspective. My humble opinion is that the worst for Zim is behind them. Bob was the worst and greatest destroyer of wealth, we've seen for a while. Africa often has leaders with completely misplaced failed ideologies - Nkruma, Idi Amin, Nyerere etc.... But, when these present crooks finally disappear perhaps Zim has a chance to head for normality? Interesting how in other parts of the world, with a bit of excellent leadership, things can improve dramatically!

They have performed so well over ALL these years when in fact Zim has been blinking "unstable". This mine is an oasis tucked away SE of Bulawayo and has the FULL support of the local community! They are well looked after as there is NO other work in Zim - thanks to Uncle Bob!

Sorry ODONNELL are not impressed with PAF's performance but then, to each their own (decisions). I have re-read the RNS and remain optimistic. I cannot see the POG falling to those lows during the past 18 months. The world has undergone gigantic changes and the focusses are on "war talk" (Putin again today!), a Chinese-Russian strategy to topple the mighty $, trade wars, sinking economies (recessions widespread possibly) and levels of unbelievable world debt. The list if you are a pessimist is long! I guess the powers that be just kick the can to face up to why there is NO world growth, down the road. The retreat by the FED must be a worry for the US economic policy makers!

No Cookie, that's not off the topic. The countries where copper comes from, China and Congo cannot be depended on to supply. This makes our case for Equador and it's government improving the mining environment (for investment) a more attractive option for the big players with chests full of money. Also, many have not invested in exploration the way they should have, all the more compelling, imho! Just feel a bit miffed as we as the PI brigade have no idea what's happening behind the scenes. We know there is a lot of manoeuvring going on. Hope to our advantage OR will it turn out like Marl (and other examples), a damp squib?
