What a dog of a share. Direction down down and down. Could go to 1.50. Holding for 2 years now. Gone nowhere while FTSE done well. It's a dog and more like an Alsatian than a nice sheepdog.

It is hard to know what is going on. But on the metrics valuation of company is very reasonable. Expansion into the states is not straight forward. Greencore, Arytza for example. However company have taken conservative approach and it is too early to have problems arise in Dole deal. I would say investorsfind this share too dull and boring at this point with recent share placing at 230 cent probably contributing to performance. Price of oil would also impact as alot of transport costs and difficult to get increase in produce prices. Still in due course this company shares will rise IMO well above current levels.

I got slated here a few weeks ago for saying this share is a heap of crap. Loads of debt, never good for any share. Unless a bid emerges for the coy. share price will probably drift slowly downwards. Would prefer if it collapsed rather than what it is doing for last few years. Slow death always harder than a quick send off as it were. Most people buy sharesv for capital appreciation. Dividends are nice but the Revenue take half of them in tax. Capital appreciation is not happening here.

Alot depends on what the news is. Could be good but may not be as good as some anticipate. That may explain share price lethargic performane.

Was enough to put a floor under price. It should recover from here. Disappointing performance to date in 2018

Brutal performer. Lets face facts. One of the worst large cap shares to own for years now.

It's strange. Many punters probably took up recent placement at �2.30 & when price fell back a few nervous holders probably sold. Today at 2.25. You would think company would have issued a warning if anything to suggest forecasts are changing. Oil pricemay impact as probably have large transport needs. Difficult to know. Reassurance certainly needed, expansion in states hasn't always proceeded smoothly e.g Greencore, Arytza but it appears this company has taken small steps when acquiring and not committed until pretty sure of progress. Share price will recover its poise post agm positive statement IMO.Fruit and Veg becoming more & more in demand so all positive. .[

All will be revealed in the morning. It does appear to be a merger.

This share has been undervalued for some time. Gap needs to close. We could see �3 plus Monday. Alot depends on how deal structured. The share price has moved up slowly over last few weeks so that tells you something IMO.

KARMAKANIX can you explain to us not as well informed what hedging at $58 means.

Shame on us who were too slow to sell out on news. Don't be surprised if share goes sub 1p again. Might as well hang on for long haul now but missed a chance to offload some shares of this dog on morning of news. No one to blame but myself. Will probably sell at some point to reduce my CGT bill on the profit I made on another share. Useful for something. Deal all too complex for me but if Barryroe is worth so much why haven't someone including the Chinese just bought both companies for pittance. Someone somewhere knows something more than the rest of us me thinks. A pig in a poke comes to mind.,

This share has been trading around these levels for around 4 yrs now. Frustrating. Still waiting for the Quataris to bid. Now may be as good a time as any.

The only reason I hold this share is it's property assets. Surely worth something if 1/2 outlets closed and sold. Retail is dying, so sell retail assets you can, god help the rest. Are the assets worth or potentially worth to an acquirer multiples of share price. If not sell, sell sell and fast. If yes buy and hold until the bidder comes.

This looks probably at least 10% undervalued presently but struggling to progress from current levels. No obvious reasons as to why. Results recently were very positive too. Any thoughts?,

you are right I think, but this "tis a cracker etc.", I assume you mean this share would crack you up, not just you repeating the same line.

How much did stake cost. Telling us what has been done is fine but ridiculous giving no indication whatever re cost and how financed. Is it such a secret. Shareholders would like a bit more transparency, don't you think. Are company now in debt. Will we have a fund raising to progress projects because all our cash is gone, if it is, who knows. Hard to commit to strong buy in the circumstances, .

Accept what you are saying but judging by the drop off in share price over last few weeks this placing was ingestation for a while. Just a little peeved but future looks good, aggressive move by a conservative company

Certainly positive overall. But most disappointing that current holders ignored in placing. New ones at discount of �2.30 gone to institutions & well heeled clients of brokers who engage the brokers to look after their already substantial nest eggs. Hard for the poor or less well off to make progress. Feel strongly that existing & holders for some time deserved the option to buy too. Life just ain't fair.
