Dosing of the second patient cohort in the study is now complete. The second cohort comprised three patients with a greater baseline level of visual acuity than those patients earlier in the study. The clinical protocol for the study allows for up to 12 patients (four cohorts of three patients each) to be treated in the Phase 2a part of the study. We expect to treat the final six patients in the study this summer and to report data from all 12 of the Phase 2a subjects in the second half of this calendar year. These results will form the basis of the Company's interactions with the European and US regulatory authorities regarding the remaining clinical development path of hRPC for the treatment of RP.

lots of interest here but my view is:
- Trials are going very well but this is now the most important update. If batch 1 still going well and batch 2 is good well it strongly suggests the product is going to work and get to market. That it huge as the size of the market is huge and many people could have their lives really improved
- Deals with other countries are being discussed and should expect some more news
- Early takeover? I really dont expect this from understanding of how market works but its possible a low ball 300m plus offer? Just pulled a figure
- Massively undervalued share in relation to market and other companies withe less product scope
- The major shareholder is selling but we have no view on what Woodford will do here. I am surprised he sold any on this one so all bets of off with him. Press reports he will keep fund closed for a while but he has sold some here and it did effect SP. I believe from press he needs 1.5b and has over a third of that already. selling everything he has here into rise doesnt make sense to me as will only net him lets say 30m +

there is a story being told on the trades its the only thing we can go by really. All these auto trades and then I believe big buys.
- Makes sense shorts are being closed
- they holding this with the volume and making money on number of trades
- There is a buyer taking position

I see nothing in the pattern that suggests a seller. No idea where that idea has come from

Neil Woodford’s beleaguered Equity Income fund will remain closed to investors until the end of the year, City analysts fear.

While Mr Woodford has said progress is being made and indicated that the fund is likely to reopen in September, experts believe the closure could last much longer.
