Investors who hold Neil Woodford's frozen Equity Income fund on the Hargreaves Lansdown platform can now switch it to a rival broker if they want, following a change of stance by share registrar Link.

Woodford is currently overhauling his fund and shedding illiquid assets, in a process initially intended to last 28 days but that is now thought likely to take until Christmas.

Its clearly still open but how can they take money from the company if it was different company in 2014? And that different company already settled?.... its going to drag on for long long time i guess as thats the leverage they have or a settlenent could be made but that will need to be low for company to accept it.
