Fair enough, I was not really aware of any distortions but just to say as long as the SP goes up soon all should be OK

I fully agree about one person trying to influence a SP, You seem to be an ultra cautious person which is fine and probably much more sensible than I am seeing as I purchased around 1 million at 8p. However if you have 5-10 cautionary reasons for not buying then why are YOU buying? Although you could have 5-10 reasons for any stock nowdays as there are probably 5 black swan moments anyone could mention together with there being a drought in Zambia so maybe there will be a lack of water or electric supply ot the Government being over thrown or Leon or his FD can't go to the toilet, or even Colin returning as FD, CEO, Cleaner, van driver, technician. Where would it stop?

Have I missed something but you certainly don't like Kalan? I'm not so sure I agree with you about him trying to talk the SP down. Bushey Yes he was trying to talk it done, maybe even Butterballs but to me Kalan has only been stating things on his terms. He seems to be objective etc etc. I have said in the past about the falling SP and will it ever stop etc etc, does that make me someone who is talking it down. It's done a fine job going down without anyone's help and if buying in at a quarter of a pence cheaper than what the market states which seems to be Kalan's route well it's down to him.

He uses charts which he thinks help him and to be fair he also has stated that he sold out too quick, so I'm not sure I understand your thoughts as you have always seemed very practical and fair. Why I'm spending so long on this I don't know, I must be bored.

I always read your posts with interest, I also think it wrong that some people slam you for your posts with regards to trying to get in cheaper which to me is so stupid. Even if you are a trader, so what although I believe you when you say that you are not trading JLP. There are certain people on boards who if they think that people have different views it's their way or the highway, which tells you a great deal about the type of person/persons they are. I must admit that your theory about China stock piling Copper to flood the West is very imaginative to say the least. The amount of copper they will need for that is astonishing if you believe the stories about the amount needed in the near future. China or the rulers are certainly not backward, they are patient devious liars yes but backward no. On a side note I read on here a few days ago that IRH are gate crashing a deal where the Chinese want to get hold of a Copper mine. I hope IRH get it but it puts the Government in a tricky position as they don't want to create a problem with either party. Anyway, here's to an upward trajectory with the SP

There is an interesting article in today's Daily Telegraph saying that China is stockpiling Copper and has over 250,000 tons of it and that there will be a problem staring from 2025 whereby Copper could rise by 25%. Now taking away all the sensationalism, it can only be good. Have a read of it and tell me what you think Regards

Of course Slater would have something to say which is normal, I'm sure he would like to see a good return from his 16p investment. You also have to add in that next F/Y and especially the year after JLP should have amazing earnings so the price would also be very attractive for a stake or a buy out. Whichever way it goes if we are patient it should look good.

The only problem is like most we want to see the money now and not in 2 years

There is a situation where there maybe some micro funds etc balancing their books before the end of the F/Y

which is maybe one reason for selling. The other area which I find interesting is the article just shown but now seemed to be taken down where IRG are trying to buy a large mine and taking it instead of the Chinese. They would need a Company to manage this as well. I am convinced that IRG are going to take a stake in JLP or even take them out as the money is not the problem and they need the expertise. It would only be the price that may be the problem.

Maybe I'm miles away but let's see what happens.

Rather than blame others blame yourself. I thought as it had been peaceful here for a few days that things got back to being quite normal. Heroric when the SP goes to 6p why don’t,t you sell

I think the situation is that there is a formal 30% carry on the IRH deal but you must add to that the management fee which could be anything they want it to be, that is where they stated on a Sunday Roast that it would be around 42%. However I expect that the more they get into Mopani and other areas with IRH then the management fee would rise.

A free 30% carry is great but when you are in control of how it works etc etc you can always get project creep which will up the costs. Then you have Chambesi which may come under the umbrella of IRH. when you have total control of most of the refining capacity in Zambia together with owning a large slice of the dumps that no one else can really turn into money AND you are supported by the Government, well then that doesn't look too bad from where I'm sitting when you look back at what the Company was 2 years ago

Happy mothers day to all, it's very still here this weekend, I thought there would be some posts.

It was interesting to see today in the Daily Mail,a (paper that has gone so downhill over the last few years)

They stated that Sylvania had gone up 12% this last week on bargain hunting. JLP went up probably about 7% and I thought stupidly that this was because we were getting closer to Copper and signing the IRC deal.

I am sum what surprised as SLP although cash rich is reliant on PGM's and slowly getting into chrome.

I have read some articles in the last few weeks saying that JLP is like a coiled spring, I treat these articles with little respect but I ask myself what will happen when the market awakens to find we do PGM's Chrome and Copper 2 of which we make very good money . May be an exciting few months ahead I hope Have a good week

Hope your well, I can't understand why anyone would even think about JLP selling SA, it really surprises me how some jump to conclusions. Ollie correctly separated the two units so they could be independently managed on a ground level reporting to a board, it creates more head space for Leon and Co. That's all it is and a very good idea too

To my knowledge you can buy or sell options, however what confuses me is that the Company says that they will be

admitted onto the market on 12-03 24. So to me there are 2 scenarios either they have or are being sold at the moment which is the reason keeping the SP down or they will be admitted probably to a Company/ person in orderly fashion managed by the Company. Whichever way, it gets them out of the way, however if people know that they are coming onto the market they may wait before buying, or sell before dependent on where you are Regards

I think it may be an idea for you to right off anything we may get from the claim, Yes funny things are going on and it looks like there is a reorganisation to water down any money that comes of it. The reason that Jennings has shut up is quite obvious, I really can't say anything especially on this board about why, but draw your own conclusions

I respect your views but I can't understand your valuations for end of year and further. The brokers value the Company at 11p NOW, we are under NAV now, surely when the IRC deal is struck and the market sees what we make on Chrome alone and by the end of April Leon has proved that the units work, and by the end of the year or well before we should be showing the rate of return from Roan/ Sable the SP will be much higher as long as there is not a total disaster anywhere.

I accept it is right to be prudent but your figures to me are way out Regards

Looking for money

I know it's frustrating but Rome RES have just started a drilling programme, I would have thought that it would be sensible to wait for the results of that before the relist as it would help the SP assuming it's good and the CEO does think it will be good
