Hi ther, I'm not arguing with you on that one, I could say the same about why anyone purchased shares, we all know the juristriction. The quick movement of M23 and all the coverage that it has will spook people which is totally understandable. Some people do not see a problem and others do, this is what makes a market, as you say someone just purchased 5 million so they don't seem to care. It is unfortunate that the way the electronic pricing works is also the amount of trades may in a short time period, someone could buy 50million in one go and it would not change the price

Are we all trying to convince ourselves that "it's the bargain of the Century" or the price is madness?

I too am very frustrated with this share or to be honest all the shares that I am in, this unrest must stop before people feel comfortable enough to go back in the Rome which certainly frustrates me as I thought we would be past .50 by now.

That is the only reason why people are selling, which to be honest is understandable given the history of the Country and their problems. I personally don't think the Goma or M23 situation will make a blind bit of difference as we are only drilling not producing and so Paul Barrett said there is no real route by car or tank or even motorbike to where we are so why would they bother and what would they gain.

I totally agree with the lunatics running the UK, I'm afraid that as a person Trump is totally vile and I hate him . the only problem I have is I agree with a lot of what he is doing, it makes me feel strange but there you go. I also agree that historically it seems Slater has held on for the long term but as you have said, things have changed and you never know what the situation will be, I agree that it is very plausible that he would refuse any offer under his average price, but we don't know what that is but it wouldn't be hard to work out, it's probably around 12p. As far as FIAT money is concerned, again this is something that has been quoted for years, I would have liked to buy physical gold when I was tempted a few years back but I stuck with JLP and others. I don't feel comfortable at all about the future which I can't do anything about. If an offer was put in at a respectable price it would be considered, it all depends on what a respectable price is to me the Company and others. I actually would take 16p today if I was offered it , I have to be honest Good Luck

May I just say that I'm not trying to condition you for anything, and I'm certainly not forcing any situation. If we get an offer , none of the PI's will be able to do anything about it, because if it is accepted by the Board and Slater it would be game set and match. The acceptance of any offer will be theirs not ours. I and others have been saying that there is a feeling that an offer will come soon or that we are in play because of the situation that was none of the PI's doing or if you believe that 3 Funds decided to just give up on JLP at the same time that's fine, it may well be the case, BUT over 300 million shares are not listed on the register belonging to anyone as far as I know and I know Shuvlin has said well Slater has got XXX % and there is nothing going on with him, does not mean that nothing is going on at all. I may be totally wrong and if I am I will happily apologise as I don't want the Company sold on the cheap either, but it also depends on what you call on the cheap as there is a price with everyone, If there is a low bid I hope others join in and force up the price. If there isn't a bid then we will have to wait a considerable time for the SP to get anywhere near the highs of before unless all the stars align with PGM's Copper Chrome etc etc and I think in these times it is difficult to see. It's a bird in the hand syndrome IF it happens, Sometimes I think IRH will bid and other times I think we are far too small for them,and maybe others

Barwick I agree with you, let us hope some sort of sense prevails but I am constantly reading up about it and talking to people who know more than I do and it is first of all very confusing and as we know there are always two sides of a coin.

ART 123, if it's all right with you I think the vast majority on this board would prefer to listen to the Rome Team and go from there as I think they are much more aware of the situation than you.

Yes that is part of it, but there are other areas that I never even thought of .

I have been speaking today to a very respected Ugandan Asian who knows a lot about what is going on in Rwanda and The Congo. Unfortunately, I can't put a lot of what he has said on a post but the situation is ridiculous there and the reasons when you look at it in reality, which he showed me online is reflected dishonestly in the news. As we all know, fighting has been going on for over 20 years in the region and there are a lot of Countries and movements trying to negotiate peace. Saying that Rwanda is doing it because of the rich minerals in the area is not correct and unfairly reported. The French also have their part to play in what Historically has been going on. Let's just hope that things return to normal and we can move on and prove the minerals that Rome have

I hope you don't mind me being blunt with AIM but I believe that if you invest you have to see both sides of the coin.

Whether the MM's are taking advantage or not, it still does not change the situation. I think this Company has a fantastic Management Team and a great unfolding asset, I was surprised when the first set of results came out and a lot of people panned the outcome, it shows that they don't understand the model and expect Tin and Copper to be there with just one shovel . The plan is there the money is there and by the looks of it the Team know exactly what they are doing. The rise in the SP has halted because of what is going on around the Congo, When things are ready, ie) in a few months maybe things would have calmed down a bit for new investors to take a punt, but when people talk about an investment like it's in the middle of Canada with no problems around it the situation becomes childish to be on the board and just read one sided stupid posts that don't mean anything other than making the person who posts it happy like they have to constantly convince themselves. We know the upside,

I think you will find that people won't invest in an area where there is a war going on, even if we are far away.

To be honest, if I wasn't in this and I looked at it even with great results I wouldn't put money in because of that very reason. This I fear will be a hard slog and I juts hope that peace breaks out very soon. Every day this week the war has been talked about and written about in the Times/ Telegraph/ TV. What do you expect ?

Why do a deal if one can easily walk away over 12 months down the line with no consequences

Maybe you are right but what I don't understand and maybe I'm being foolish is that if you have a binding agreement

for both sides and I accept there may be underwritten clauses in the Contract how can you just get out of it if you have found a better deal or you want to go it alone without having some sort of court injunction thrown at you. I say this because what is the point in having a binding agreement if it's not what it says it is.
