Yes, the weak small holders are being manipulated (frightened) into panic selling so as the big boys can get their shares cheap before the bid drops.

GameStop has been on a stupefying 1,900% run over the last three weeks, as it has become the battleground where swarms of smaller investors see themselves making an epic stand against the 1%.

Onassis, you have hit the nail on the head. The market senses what is really going on. I think the delays are due to the prospective bidders suggesting a price well below what the BOD feel is right. A hostile take over is not possible due the holding structure so, unless common ground can be found, the whole bid situation will collapse.

Many here suggest that the falling price is down to MMs manipulating the market to get cheap shares for the big boys. My question is why are the big boys bothered about a few pence saved at their buy in price when their sell out price is supposedly multiples of the current price. The answer must be that the eventual bid price will only be modestly above the current price. The Market known!!!!
