Absolute stupidity, but they’re stuck with a large short that’s gone wrong. Good tree shake for smaller investors to fear something is amiss. Usual game play after such a fast increase. I’ll be holding for decent increase and the dividends going forward. Capita are a different business, not touching potential loss making contracts. JL has done a fantastic job!

Is the old news? Hadn’t seen an RNS…

Capita plc (Capita) today announces that it has agreed to sell its Secure Solutions and Services (SSS) business to NEC Software Solutions UK Limited for a consideration expected to be £62m, on a cash free debt free basis.
Do you have some of the text of the article?
Good RNS, increase from 15.2% to over 16% - they've certainly got confidence in the turnaround plan progress..
What’s the odds of a private equity bid on this? So undervalued it’s a no brainier!
You should short it then. Join the rest of the people shorting Capita.
Oh, just realised shortdata showing negligible shorts.
You can always see a tree shake a mile off!
Absolutely pointless arguments on here. It’s never been so busy with people posting negative views on CPI. I’ve never had any time to post on shares that I think have no positive prospects.
But try and not clutter the board with personal arguments. It’s all about the data and the half year figures…
I seriously doubt it’s by chance that newly appointed CFO was instrumental in buyout from previous company G4S. Given the massive amount of Institutional investors circa 80% the movement on share price is is only small shareholders dumping. I’ve zero doubt that 75p attainable in the next 3 months. Whether it’ll be a buyout or a proper analysis of current CPI value.
Can only be good for balance sheet. And great timing for results.

Pays down the debt and focuses the business on more high tech, high margin contracts. Definitely heading in the right direction. Also good news on lead up to the results!

Good to see the special dividend of .35c and .165c being approved. Huge return at current share price - though it's a hugely depressed price given the continued profit and passenger growth,
Think HSBC has an entirely different agenda with the share price downgrade.
