Not happy with the placing-based drop either (shame - PIM has always been a rather unvolatile share in my portfolio until this!) but like you happy to sit here for Brazil story to unfold - I reckon it will be 6 months to a year before we see what should be some transformational income coming through. Worth the wait.
I bought in yesterday at 115.8 (though showed as less then that on trades) in anticipation of decent results this week and not disappointed. Sentiment on India and emerging markets which have dipped since the spring have pushed these down. Rupee is not a significant factor here according to their reports, unlike some Indian companies. Still time for others to buy in at a very low level. Great growth prospects and can see it being a good divi payer in time.
Offer of 6p cash + a quantity of renovo shares - not great really and so I've sold at roughly what this would amount to. Too much uncertainty to hold on and happy to take money now. GL to all still here - if Renovo get it right, this should still be a good'n.
Drop today I guess due to usual few selling out rather than wait for formal offer price and usual t/over ups and downs. Dropped on very low volumes though so am assuming nothing to worry about and should come back up when more info announced.
Bit surprised the market hasn't responded more to this great news - couldn't hope for a better distribution outlet that a giant like Bayer. Maybe two reasons - 1) news already built in to the s/p,which has risen recently after announcing Brazil venture; 2) further detail awaited on commercial terms of the deal with Bayer (which I guess will only come when we see financial results published).
Thanks Shan - I was wondering why it was heading up so much. Let's hope the offer's a good one - I was enjoying holding this share for the dividends and growth.
Well written RNS today which seeks to distance Kentz from the rest of the sector which has been flagging because of e.g. woes in Algeria (Petrofac). Kentz still making good money and good order book for the future.
Not sure it's that boom-like, but moving in the right direction and still great value anywhere sub-400. I got in yesterday (a day late sadly, but I wanted to avoid a falling knife).
