Two thoughts Uncle. First Mustang is small change (mcap of less than £3 million) and is a SPAC seeking to invest in energy storage assets. Second, trying to understand the maths of today's RNS was tricky to say the least. Who owns how much of what is as clear as mud. Pity those poor teenage experts trying to do the maths at 7 am this morning.
When Gore Street Energy Storage fund gets involved, then the market will get excited.
Well done Somtam67, a good read even for a LT BMN disciple.
Might I make a couple of comments / suggestions?
1. The beauty of VRFB is that the vanadium is fully recyclable at the end of life of the battery (you say reconditioned) and we do need to underline current buzzwords.
2. You say that Lithium battery fires give off large amount of hydrogen fluoride - is this HFL (as in HCL) or Hydrofluoric Acid? If so, I would call it acid, that will catch their attention!
3. MPs are not very observant people and many have a short concentration span. So I think too much intense scientific detail in a message will lose them. My approach to public servants has always been to keep it short and put the clear, easily-digestible facts up front and the scientific detail into footnotes (a little like chewing toothless granny's food for her).
4. Perhaps a mention of what size of batteries we are talking about?
Well done and thanks for your significant effort in pulling the detail together

Having said that, selling from treasury into the market is stiffling the upward price movement. I note that most shares being sold are coming from treasury!
@adv11 Where does your statement come from? My reading is that fund are being raised in excess of nav to invest in cash generating storage projects - and from there cash will be generated to pay increasing dividends.
My grouse is why, as a shareholder at flotation, do I now need to line up with others on Primary Bid?
I wonder about the ages of posters in this string. While I (over 60) would rather go to the restaurant, my kids frequently get home deliveries of food. They certainly spend far more on takeaways than I do on restaurants.
I would not knock this company or its future just yet.
Sugar pill or placebo is the wrong term to use and better to use the word "control". In the experiment dermasys was applied with or without the so-called active ingredient. After all, we were testing the so-called active ingredient. However, the results showed that both trials worked equally well AND that both gave results very significantly above the situation before application testing began.
When the results of the trial were first published, the shares tanked. Sellers had missed the fact that this was an example of serendipity.
To be clear, Dermasys is not distilled water, it is a chemical substance in its own right. I do not known how it functions as an accelerator across the dermal barrier but I would not be surprised if it causes dilation of the pores and blood capillaries of the skin and muscles beneath. And that is exactly what little dickie needs to become big bob.
I bought on day one and have reinvested every dividend since then. My only concern is the rise of UKP against the Euro. But great to see that we are above asset value and that treasury shares are being sold into the market. Time for an issue of warrants?
Lol @knuttie. Your old codger has now joined the ranks of the recycled, it seems. So I welcome him as a paid up Ecologist.
@Prince. I spent four years in the Corrupt Republic of. Rather than send the cash, I'll let you read my book, out soon on Kindle.
My gut feeling is that BMN will not remain independant, at these prices, for much longer. There is just too much promise in a very moderate market cap. I cannot believe that one of the majors or mid-caps is not running their abacus over us right now and that a t/o will come sooner rather than later. What, after all, would be the negatives in such a move?
