Unfortunately there's a lot to say about this company at present.

And call it what you will - gambling, investing, dreaming - we all know the risks whenever we put our money into anything. But I don't bet the bill and food money unlike some.

Yes very much agree. I think it would be fair to say there's now huge global interest in BTC and associated cryptos.
Regardless of how well or badly OBC is doing it will undoubtedly get swept up in the frenzy that we've seen over the last few weeks.

Longer term investment case for OBC is pretty good I think.
Nicely developing block chain projects and with the crypto boom they’ll get carried along.
They also hold 18% in advfn which published strong results pre-covid.

And BTC just breached $56k!!

If BTC goes bananas over the weekend I'd say 150 is a excellent target in the short term

My b/e is 10.1p. I'm undecided at present whether to hold long term or hope we can make it to 15p and sell.

I think the long term case here is good. But it does depend on whether they can start re-lending,

fiesta, we live and learn as investors. It may seem foolish but my golden rule is - if you cant make money then don't lose it.
I've sold shares in plenty of companies who've gone to much higher prices.
But I've also sold shares after making a profit only to see the price crash and burn later.

Timing in this game is key. I (for once) got my timing right having averaged down to 10p from 16p just 2 days ago.
Was sitting on a 60% loss at the start of the week and now I'm down to only 13%.

I do feel genuine sorrow for those who bought in big here at 5-7p on promises that never materialised.
I bought at 2.5p and sold at 6.1p last year. But I bought a small amount at 4.4p for a the long term hold.
I wont be selling. Happy to sit on this one despite the fact the company is a shambles.
