what price do you break even at?

I did wonder whether or not the results are being held back.
But i'd agree with HERNE that things usually take a bit longer in africa - and then you can add covid to the equation.
But the spread is still very high even for this share, so i am thinking something excellent is brewing.
And with Burgundy entering the fray I think the Thorny results are going to good.
Just that bit more patience needed.

From a speculation point of view I don't think anything can be dismissed. 'Punting something' (as you say) isn't unreasonable at all. It would be easy to look at the current situation at face value and simply assume Amigo is going to make us all a lot of money.

But often things aren't simple and straight forward.

Ps JP Morgan Chase revenues for 2019 were 115 billion USD.

Its easy at the moment is get very excited about the JP Morgan developments.

But lets try and keep a lid on things? There could be a number of reasons why Bybrook and JP Morgan are developing stakes in Amigo which aren't at the moment apparent.

Optimism is good, but lets not get carried away . . .

If another institution was to buy in big I think you'd see a frenzy tbh.
Bybrook buying in was a big boost. But when Morgan put there cards on the table sentiment became very strong IMO

Keep the faith. And sell when you're too. Sentiment is very strong at present (and for that I am very grateful). But we all know nothing in life guaranteed. If we make it to 30p my resolve for not selling will be tested

The spread is the one thing that annoys me about this equity, they're very defensive very often.
The price rise in Burgundy has likely put them on red alert.
And as I've said - they can my shares for 6p each

I did say I was very fearful of a fundraise but I'll take it back.
I averaged down last week and bought at 2.4 so I'm relieved to see the fundraise is at 2.2
At least now AE will be forgotten about. But with copper prices soaring I'm disappointed that they didn't just find a buyer for the project
