And it’s also interesting reading the ‘rhetoric’ from some on the board
It’s useful to use the BB’s to gauge sentiment but I’d never buy or sell based on them.
Far too many games people are playing

But overall I’d say sentiment is excellent amongst us - holding or buying is the order of the day certainly

I’d be interested to know your thoughts in the impending global recession - and gold traditionally being a very safe haven for investors. I note also the gold price is up 3% today
Could 2023 be a good year for us gold dabblers?

PS I appreciate I was looking to trade this relatively quickly but given the bigger picture I'm now a holder.

I appreciate recession has been mentioned already this afternoon
But the prospect of a global recession in 2023 seems inevitable - and the only question is how long and tough it will be.
Gold (traditionally) is a very safe haven for investors looking to limited their exposure to the downturn
So I for one do not intend to trade this share unless there is a buyout.
And for governments looking to protect themselves from recession buying gold miners seems a logical step

If we don't get a bid from Shandong I'll be astonished.

I generally think we’re somewhat immune to wider market forces but that’s a good theory
Wish I had the spare to buy more here but I’m generally happy with my 900k shares at just under 1p

It’s a good point you make about the buying and selling
I wouldn’t say this is being sold down by any means but we definetely do have a seller who’s acting upon even small sp rises. As you know this share is very illiquid - I couldn’t sell even even 80k this morning

But anyway - mining thorny river in 2023 is looking almost certain. And I reckon it’s going to make us all lots of ££ :-)
