Continental has been very aggressively building their stake in the PRB so they do seem like the most likely candidates…are they continuing this or has another major caught on and are trying to stop them having the whole cake?

I guess we’ll find out soon when Art announces who the JV partner is :)

Payday for a lot of people tomorrow so could we see some cash being injected into this share…I wouldn’t rule it out

Holders are just not getting ahead of themselves basing all their hopes on what our leader ‘hoped’ he would get done the end of month lol…I will be pleasantly surprised if I do see a RNS tomorrow and it doesn’t have to be 7am…

One thing which we can get our hopes up for is the release of the updated oil production figures which will land anytime tomorrow :D

AJEP good post…worth noting COPL upgraded the secondary recovery figures to 51-60% in the hearing

I think the oil majors might be a little more giving with the big profits they’re making this year so should help squeeze a bit more out of whichever one we do a deal with

“COPL is permitting 16 delineation wells at a spacing of one well per square mile for Phase 1 of the delineation”

“The first 2 horizontal wells will be drilled commencing in January 2023 targeting Contingent Resources in the Frontier 2 Fm.”

If no JV/RBL RNS on Monday(not expecting it so would be pleasantly surprised) we have the oil production update which can drop anytime on Monday so it’ll be a exciting day regardless

This was one of the recent JV’s done in the powder river basin, Wyoming(Same area we operate in) with Occidental Petroleum being the partner…

“Mannheim. Salt Creek Oil & Gas, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deutsche Rohstoff AG (FRA: DR0), has entered into another joint development agreement with Occidental (NYSE: OXY) in the Powder River Basin/Wyoming. The development is expected to drill 15 additional wells and commence production in 2023 (5 wells) and 2024 (10 wells). The investment volume for Salt Creek totals USD 75 million.”

“In February, Salt Creek had already announced a first joint venture with Occidental with an initial investment volume of USD 65 million. The total announced cooperation with Occidental thus amounts to USD 140 million investment in the development of 31 horizontal wells. The first six wells began production in September. A further ten wells will follow in the first half of 2023.”
