“As previously disclosed, COPL was approached late in the third quarter by a large oil company ("JV Party") inquiring if the Company was interested in a Joint Venture partner to appraise and develop its Barron Flats Deep oil discovery announced in September 2021. The Company is bound by a non-disclosure agreement ("NDA") with the JV Party and as such is limited in its ability to disclose their identity and the nature of the discussions to date until after an agreement is entered.

The JV Party conducted technical due diligence on the Company's interpretation and technical information of its deep oil discovery which was presented as a significant extension to the Frontier and Dakota oil accumulation at its 100% working interest operated Cole Creek oil field. As common in industry the JV Party would also conduct their own internal evaluation, which we believe has been completed.

In early November, the Company presented its outline of a joint venture to the JV Party for discussion. COPL understands the concept is moving through their internal processes as the Company has been asked for additional time for the JV Party to present a potential way forward. COPL has agreed to this request and has been recently advised that a potential way forward will be presented by the JV Party in early January 2023.”

23rd Jan -

No RNS about the JV but Art confirmed the JV party requested and was sent the data of the successful frontier 1 completion(Which confirmed JV party had got back to him in January but talks still ongoing)

1st Feb -

“The Company confirms that it is actively negotiating terms for a joint venture for the long-term development of its Wyoming assets. The Company plans to announce the detailed terms as soon as they are agreed.”

Can’t be much longer now…can it? Hmmmm

THE BONDHOLDERS HAVE NOT CONVERTED!

The company is priced to fail…bondholders wouldn’t convert if that was going to happen…this can be seen as a positive once again like last Friday :)

John you know it’s not a small company and there’s no basis for that claim either…

Art has said previously in the late December interview he initially had some ‘people’ talking to him around the ‘edges’ but they were ‘much smaller’ than the JV party we’re currently in late stage discussions with…it’s a LARGE oil company or should I say JV PARTY ;)

Art loves having Anavio on board with COPL’s future plans…

I see them and the bonds they hold as more of a counter to a potential takeover allowing COPL to grow but that’s my take…

Comms lockdown has lasted longer than I thought…Is Art trying to play a hole in one on his return? something must drop soon imo…

Read the document and you’ll understand… Also if you had(I don’t know if you did) listened to the hearing back in October you would be aware of the WOGCC’s backing on this matter…so for that reason it shouldn’t be a problem.

John - COPL literally got emergency flaring approval the day after the application was submitted to the WOGCC just under two weeks ago…I don’t think they’ll have any problems :)

Thanks LT… It seems Art is going for another 6 month extension for flaring whilst gas gathering infrastructure works are done…should be a tick box exercise for the WOGCC, as they’ve already shown previously they’re fully behind COPL supporting them where they can…are these the actions of a company hanging up it coat? Definitely not ;)

“The Subject Wells are in the Barron Flats (Shannon) Unit, as more specifically described above and depicted on Exhibit A attached here to. The gas to be flared is produced from wells outside the BarronFlats (Shannon) Unit, purchased by Applicant from Tallgrass Energy, and piped to Applicant's facilities. Applicant's long-term plan is to recycle all of the Injected Gas for pressure maintenance. The Injected Gas will not be marketed for sale until the project reaches blowdown, which is anticipated in 2050.”

One thing to note is the Barron Flats unit won’t reach blowdown until 2050, which screams LONG-TERM oil production…remember we have INCLINING oil production field not a declining one ;)

RBM I think some are getting confused as to what report Ryder Scott is finalising…

Is the report is question a resource report or a reserves report as the two are different?

The last resource report from Ryder Scott - Aug 5th 2022 RNS -

· Confirms the Wyoming deep discovery has total Original Oil in Place of 993.5 million barrels

· It is independent verification of the oil Discovery announced in January 2022

· These are conservative estimates complying with Canadian standards

…The one thing that’s guaranteed is the next resource report from Ryder Scott will confirm OVER 1 billion barrels of oil under COPL’s land :)
