JPM Chase buys 2% of CNE and the sp drops? Have I misread the RNS? Oil is trading at $100 a barrel and the sp here is 220p? Strange market reaction imo.
And I wonder how many small investors willing to sell from here for less than a 100% profit? 14p seems to be a figure discussed here quite often so the market makers might struggle to find sellers. The expectation of a bid or significant re rate seems high so shares likely to be in demand on further news.
An approval to mine for Uranium and Vanadium in Sweden granted over the next few weeks could double the sp imo but DYOR. How probable is that? I think it has gone from roughly a 1000:1 shot to 10:1 in the last few weeks.
I almost do not care. Yes I want CNE to make profits but I never thought Egypt a safe place to invest and was disappointed when the management threw so much into buying those resources. Come mid March I will take the offer and foxtrot oscar to a safer North Sea Oil & Gas punt.
DiveCentre....hopefully we will all survive the week but with Putin threatening to use nuclear weapons your point is valid. My personal view is that the Russians will persist in attacking Ukraine with conventional weapons and oil prices will lift the HUR sp. Will Putin survive this week is another interesting question.
Any predictions for how the sp will fare over the next week? I would like to see it close above 8p by Friday. Much will depend on the oil price and events. As someone suggested below BP might make a bid simply because they have dumped their interests in Russia and suddenly WoS licences are worth serious money.
Interesting idea, not one I would object to either. If Crystal Amber think HUR a good long term prospect that reassures me to hang on for a couple of years too.
The French might give Madrid a nudge but as said below the permits might take years to be granted and I fear the legal action and bickering will have finished off BKY by then. It is perhaps a bit naive of me to think the German people might throw out The Greens and make their government show some common sense!.
This is turning into a real sheet or bust play! Am I brave enough to average down and hope some deal comes to fruition or that the bad debt is paid? I do not trust Drayson enough to put some more money on the table? Well he has an impressive CV and has cut his pay so maybe yes.
cat5, sorry my bad. I support HUR but am not a deliberate ramper, my overall point that the company is now a cash machine with other licences remains valid and I hope it attracts a bid.
Levs I emailed the company just now to ask if they might approach Sweden to get approval for Haggan in exchange for yellow cake from the mine in Africa. As far as I can see Haggan is a pure Vanadium play not Uranium but Sweden may have resources elsewhere it is a large country.
