Agree, future oil prices look very good for HUR imo. Hold and ignore or filter the noise my policy.
A few on the BP board are saying the company is becoming an oil company again so it would not surprise me if they did acquire some more oil production. In reality HUR is too small to be worth their attention but we do have past links with BP.
Personally, I do not think this UK government will survive the next general election and whoever comes next will realise that energy security and the replacement of Russian gas for Europe is a priority. Net Zero will slowly wither on the vine and therefore SQZ a good long term punt. Purely an opinion but I feel the Eco Green Marxism is coming to an end.
They issued an RNS this morning on strategy and this odd statement got my attention:
"- Up to $8 billion more into oil and gas by 2030 - targeting short-cycle fast-payback opportunities with lower additional operational emissions"
Not sure what that means but would not be surprised if BP was out to buy oil by buying up a few small producers.
Inclined to agree with biffbaffboff since there is nought much I can do anyhoo other than bail which I am not inclined to do. I did sell some of my holding this morning for a small profit but still down overall.
I share the frustration of board members over the lack of news and the sp languishing around 7.7p. Unfortunately, we are in the hands of the biggest share holder Crystal Amber CRS. I have even tried asking on their board about HUR but little response so I sit here awaiting good news but worried we are about to get screwed (again).
I liked this bit....
Mt Scratch Prospect on its own only represents 5% of the overall project area. The coincidence of multiple highly chargeable anomalies, extensive magnetite alteration and elevated copper in soils and rocks, extending over much of the 40km long N-S massive alteration zone, supports our view that Pitfield has the geological hallmarks of a "Giant" copper mineralised system and we intend to continue our soil sampling and DD-IP surveying activities over the coming months to identify additional drill targets."
The money is important but I would enjoy seeing CA publicly dismiss Maris and his friends in a few days time.
A deal, even a good one, where that rat gets away with a pay off would disappoint me.
No RNS as yet.....but great if 01 Feb true.
