newtoit,
the point its not just a few posters on here is it?
Have you not seen/read some of the many articles out there explaining why they believe its just too big for us to go alone?
Industry experts outlining why they believe a sale is on the cards?
So you believe NCM and BHP will be happy with their minority stakes and don't have the ability to take it from us or offer their services in a JV with us where they increase their stakes?
If so, just how, specifically/ practically can NM defend against bids?
If a company wants to buy they put a bid in, despite our friend constantly saying this just is not possible, how so?
Fair price seems to be his main argument for us not getting bids. as in no one will want to pay fair value or full value..
When in reality fair value needs to take account of risks, expenses and many other factors, including our current market cap/SP.
The answer is NM has said many times he would sell at the right price, why would he say this if he was not interested in selling?
