Newcrest or BHP or serious about having Cascabel I would imagine we would see a bid following the revised estimate and PEA, although this could now come earlier based on todays news.

I dont expect we will now be needing dilution to take this one to production, but stranger things have happened.

Could be another couple of years before one of the other projects is proved up, so they may want to get Cascabel in the bag.

What are peoples views on a Newcrest/BHP JV? pay half billion each for it before it gets too expensive? prob more if the revised estimate is better than expected re the high grade?

And for the record Jason Ward NEVER said he didn't rate Cascabel, he just thought there was a chance one of the other projects could be even better, which is a fair guess with this being the first of a possible 11.

I think there will be enough interested in Cascabel to get a good price, after all we only need 2 for bidding war.

Personally I don't think it will be one major, so based on todays news Newcrest and BHP seems the most likely at this stage

got in at 40p, thought that was cheap and over done, lucky that I waited and got in today.
