RE: AG27 Sep 2018 10:01
I'm not sure when they are going to make a bid, thats the golden question.
The fact Newcrest is on board could speed the process up, as its unlikely BHP would want a 3 way partnership IMO
Best scenario is that one of the big players, yet to show interest, makes a bid, then it would become very exciting indeed.
This is what I'm hoping for, one of the big gold players.
BHP may have chosen to invest in us rather than a full buy out, however its unanimous amongst the experts and analysis's that they won't be content with just 6@ and that they are very interested indeed in Cascabel.
If hole 64 comes up with very high grades, as expected, this will again support the concept of an underground economic mine at Alpala's rich heart, which seems to be getting bigger and richer.
This was the main factor in some peoples concerns thus far, although it was a Newcrest member I believe, who said
"thats a mine right there", following the initial MRE.
For NM not to take this to production in some capacity, we need an irresistible offer, then we can crack on and repeat the process, or, for me, following the recent BHP stake, a full TO is now also an option, especially if we were to get some shares in the said company as part of the buy out deal, so NM's legacy is passed on and still alive to some degree
