Its a rare situation where such a good asset is likely not to be the best one we find.

I wouldn't imagine NM will give the rest away cheap, but its also unusual for a sale of Alpala for instance, on its own, when there is so much potential in the other projects also.

The longer NM holds out IMO the more valuable we become.

A buyer(s) may well be prepared to pay a premium for the whole of SOLG, knowing they will be lucrative in both production and exploration for many decades to come.

Its not unusual for big companies to be taken out so it could well be SOLG gets taken out sooner than a lot of us expect.

Would be nice to get some shares in the company(s) that do buy us, if that happens, a bit like over at MARL, that way we know we still have an investment in the projects we sell.

It’s because he posts contradictory, ‘with hindsight’ non sense day in day out all day long How can you not see this is not helpful to anyone He also gives advice in most posts, which is not allowed, ending the posts with ‘ this is not meant as advice or do your own research. He admits he hadn’t researched here or know about fundamentals that it’s purely based on technical analysis If he gave accurate analysis rather than hindsight analysis many wouldn’t be as firsutrated with him as they are What does he bring to he table? Like really what does he bring to the table for those invested or thinking in investing in the companies he posts on ?

I agree Newcrest know more than us and are aware of market down turn yet happy to pay 40p for a shed load If it’s good enough for BHP at a 20% premium today approx then I’m happy to keep topping up at these levels

Indeed We all have our favourites where we can’t help buying more, especially on such big drops

considering the carnage in many other shares, maybe quality starting to show through

you could be correct, however many shares have already dropped significantly.good news could see re rates on various companies.

if you don't mind missing the lows, waiting for further dips then its fine, if one wants bargains I believe there will be a many to be had when we look back and say "i wish I'd got some at that price"
