Thirdly, I would add to that, due to the slow progress on other projects and potential objections, surely this makes these deposits even rarer and someone will want to get their hands on Alpala as the government seem keen to progress with it.
Currently a couple of majors could prob buy the whole of SOLG and all its other projects and potential projects for cheaper than many were hoping for Cascabel alone.
I think we will get a cheeky bid of around 60p which will start the process of a bidding war.
Wishful thinking possibly, but logically how does this reasoning not make sense?
There will be many who don't like this, prob including Nm, but if a bid comes in, however cheap, it will have to eb considered by share holders and this in itself would give us the re rate we are all looking for.
Who knows just maybe this was NM's strategy all along?
Unless we get a funding package shortly eg stream funding then I believe its more and more likely bids are going to start to come in.
Majors are planning decades ahead not months, so it really would be like shopping n the January sales?
