Hi RICH
No I don't have a bottomless pit of money, wish that was the case.
Instead I learnt some time ago, to always have a percentage of cash no matter how good I think a share is.
I have far more in here than any where else, which isn't a good strategy in general but I like to try and get a few on the drops, if possible I try and get the lowest ish price of that day when theres been a fair drop.
I also learnt the hard way that topping up can cost when you got in early, so I got very few above 30p in relation to the rest.
since the decline to 20p I made a decision that although i was unlikely to catch the bottom that I would top up in tranches below that price
eg 19p,17,14p and now 12.6p. not huge amounts compared to some on here, but big chunks for me.
I have to be honest don't have much left if we go down another level, but as I believe we could get take over news I'm not brave enough to be out completely.
At times instead of using extra money I have also sold a few on the rises and kept that back to get more shares with that money on the drops, but I've always held my base investment
In the last week I have also liquidated a fair few of my stocks, taking a hit on some, to be able to concentrate on the few I believe are best value during this crash.
Hope that helps? you did ask? lol
