Hi Sian,
You have made your pint loud an clear now. Please can you stop carrying on. Let the PI's now decide what they want to do in relative peace and quiet. Is that too much to ask?
I can second that. Although Sain may be filled with knowledge, it isn't half depressing reading all that negativity, and if he/she is not invested, I do not see the point of posting on a BB...
This is retail investor heavy share, and therefore this kind of SP volatility is expected.
The RNS this morning together with the video that Orphidian posted should put a lot of investors who believe in the product and the company at ease.
NK, if the Open Offer shares are oversubscribed then the chances are the extra shares are most likely not to be issued to you. If you have paid for the extra shares then you will get refunded. Hope that helps.
Hi Stocktaker,
To a relative newbie, could you explain the difference between Option 1 and Option 2?
OPTION 1: Do nothing (Default). Your subscription shares will lapse if you do not exercise them by our deadline date.
OPTION 2: Exercise your subscription shares in full or in part. Under the terms of the open offer, each subscription share entitles you to 1 new share in Omega Diagnostics Group plc at GBP0.40 per share.
Where would the amount of shares that a holder is entitled to (1 share for every 20 held) be entered?
Its not possible with my broker...
Omega Diagnostics Group plc has announced an Open Offer; your account has been issued with 1 non-transferable subscription share for every 20 shares held.
If your sub shares are held within an ISA account, please be aware that the sub shares are not transferable and therefore the facility to take this Offer up outside of an ISA account is unavailable.
Hi Mars1,
I can sell some of my existing ODX holding and buy what I am entitled to (which is a few hundred shares). However, if I wanted to apply for extra shares I would have to sell more of my current holding (and there is no guarantee that I would get the extra shares). Bit of a gamble then really...
Hi All,
So I have tried to buy shares through the Open Offer. However, I am maxed out the ISA for this year therefore cannot buy any. Further, it cannot be transferred to the trading account. The Open Offer is therefore of no value or point to me as well as others who have shares in an ISA that is maxed out.
I cannot understand why people are selling out...
The hand sanitisers were never the main business...look at what capacity they have freed up. Nanoparticles for the nano face masks, and the citrus greening. Also the test. Surely this is way undervalued at this level and oversold. A bounce is well overdue...
Looks like some rumblings are coming out o C4X...could get interesting
If you don't believe in the test then sell all your shares and stop posting on this group.
If you really think a technical presentation would be allowed that has any effect on the share price or the success of this test then you are wrong.
I just don't understand people who are supposedly invested in a share and just speak negatively about it. It's like supporting a football team and always chanting the rival team's name!
Hi Waggy,
If you have sold then I suggest you really look at jumping back in with the profit that you have made. If you have not sold then I would suggest buying more to average down...
Look at all the Covid related shares. They are almost all up. Its no coincidence, people are realising that a vaccine (if it comes at all) wont be available for some time. The only way to be safe is to test.
Further to this:-
1. Governments and the public are realising that the virus has not gone away, and will not go away. There will be spikes again and communities may need to go into local lockdowns.
2. The lockdown has contained the spread. As lockdown is lifted (government's can't suffer damage to their economies indefinitely), the virus will inevitably spread again.
All the best
