Joining the main market will enable FTSE funds to add Asos into their portfolios which will put big pressure on shorters. I am expecting to see some recovery today and the sp to close anywhere above 2000

I just added , we have a double bottom and the sp should see some recovery from here

Retail sales for the month rose 3.8%, much better than the 2.1% Dow Jones estimate.

They can't swim against the tide, once Asos gets listed on the main market FTSE fund managers will be able to add Asos to their portfolios so the sp will go up. I am expecting to see meaningful recovery in the sp in week 2 & 3 of feb.

Citadel Advisors LLC reduced its short position yesterday by 0.10% to 0.69% , MW by 0.04% a couple of days ago. I think we'll see more shorters close their short positions before Asos joins the main market later this month.

Joining the main market will enable FTSE funds to add Asos into their portfolios which is when we'll see a real reversal in the sp trend.

I believe the sp drop has to do with The City boys hoovering cheap shares before ASC move to the main market. in week 2-3 of Feb the sp should be in a very different position as many portfolio managers will start to add Asos before big funds allowed to do so only after Asos meets their investment criteria (company listed on the main market)

looking at your posts history on this board, you’ve l gone from one extreme to the other ..bullish/ bearish/ bullish then bearish .. it looks to me that you’re trading CWR and likely you sold your holdings here before the weekend ;)
