Gmed, I guess no one noticed how important to Angus today's UJO/EDR RNS about Biscathorpe-2 well :

The Biscathorpe-2 well is located within the proven hydrocarbon fairway of the Humber Basin, on trend with the Saltfleetby gasfield and the Keddington oilfield which produces oil from a Carboniferous Westphalian aged sandstone reservoir ("Westphalian")

-Highlights:
*Good quality hydrocarbon extracts were obtained from the Westphalian and Dinantian cuttings samples
**All hydrocarbons extracted appear to be non-biodegraded
*** The hydrocarbons extracted are comparable to those extracted from a known oil-bearing Westphalian interval (Keddington oilfield)
**** APT confirmed the likely presence of a live oil column in the top of the Dinantian interval from approximately 1,980 metres to 2,015 metres (35 metres), with likely residual oil below
***** Data evaluated at the base of the analysed section, and wellsite gas readings, are also suggestive of possible additional hydrocarbon pay below 2,133 metres
*******"The results of the revised petrophysical analysis and the APT Report have upgraded the Biscathorpe-2 well result, confirming the likely presence of a 35 metre column, of good quality oil, within the Dinantian interval. This along with the elevated gas readings and oil shows over an extended interval in the well are indicative of proximity to an effective petroleum system and validate the potential that exists within the PEDL253 licence area.

Angus is not only looking for Gas there but to Oil production as well and they have a proven reservoir comparable with other established oilfields in East Midlands Basin.

As Warren Buffet once said, the stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient. because of the poor sentiment & news from Brockham some decided to jump off the boat with substantial loss aiming to regain their losses in currently booming shares such as UJO ,etc. . imo Angus was overvalued months ago and the market makers knew that so they've been shorting this company and bringing its share price down on every possible opportunity : Christmas work suspension, GM requisition, boardroom coup, water problem, sp not responding to the water isolation news, dropping the sp further before the placing, sp strangely stayed under placing price even though the work at Brockham was ongoing, no market reaction to Saltfleetby outstanding acquisition (4p/share) and finally the killer drop in sp after the latest news from Brockham. Some market makers were in the know ? Maybe.. manipulation? Very possible. I also noticed that sp share price was tightly controlled to bring it down to where we are now..

Anyway, we are where we are now and we all know that this is the rock bottom or somewhere around it, Perhaps you noticed that Lucan gave the signal last Thursday in the CC when he said that Balcombe and Saltfleetby alone worth multiple times the currently sp, there is NO PLACING anytime soon and sp will see recovery from here onward (his words). He is one of The City key players and he is the same person who managed to secure 3 Million pounds in the last round of fundraising so convincing his mates to throw a million or two in the market to pick those over sold shares &get on board now at the rock bottom sp to ride the recovery is something he can easily do over a coffee meeting.

People can moan as much as they like about the market manipulation or BOD alleged lies and false promises regarding Brockham but Angus's shares at this share price are golden passes to easy money for whoever buy now and hold for short time or multibag in few months, the sp wont stay here for longer because shorters have been covering and value investors& people in the know wont mind to buy now and hold for minimum of 50-100% profit from this ridiculously cheap level. Ocelot, ignore the noise mate ,its a one-sided conversation with them.. just ask your why wasting tens of hours everyday on persistent posts in a company they allegedly don't hold and/or have held its shares ...

Yanis, some people (unrealistically) expected smashing news from cc followed by sp spike today but when they didn't get ithat they cashed out first thing in the morning, some LTHs will sell too knowing sp wont get back to their entry levels in the short term (>4p) unless they average down to sell later and break even. I don't see shorters here anymore, only LTHs giving up on fast sp recovery to their entry levels and day traders making 10% every day or two from the sp volatility.

Unfortunately I dont expect the sp to reach your entry level anytime soon (5-6p ?) but I can see it settling in the 2sp zone next week.

Not at all mate, I didnt say its getting short atm, I said shorters are 'covering at the rock bottom' .. They took the sp down 60% only two weeks ago so they are 'living the dream atm' covering from the panic selling.

Some people expected magic from yesterday's CC but when they didnt get magic they sold. I still believe sp will climb back up to at least 2p VERY soon

Yep, people expected magic from last night but when they 've got told it will be a steady sp recovery from here rather than instant one they rushed into the panic selling button. Shorters living the dream now, covering at the rock bottom.

Agree Doubleheadedcoin , I believe sp will hit 2p much sooner than we expected.

Panic selling Yanis or people who were expecting magic from the CC ! SP down -5% now but nice buying pressure on the ASK so it will bounce back up soon.

The wording in today’s RNS sound very optimistic for a change !

Hope the company will test the Portland in Brockham as stated in the RNS rather than selling its license .. either way the current shareprice gives 0 value to Brochkam so any cash to be made from Portland production or selling the license should add considerable weight to the sp.

I can see what you are trying to do here, you've mentioned that you didnt cash out after the recent sp drop so I think you are waiting to hear what Lucan would say on Thursday evening then decide to either cash out or average down & of course you want the sp to stay at the rock bottom until then .....
