I never said INTU is immune to anything or the share price will climb back up to where it was last year (unless of course the BOD could secure a good takeover deal) .

Its really simple, I and many other holders on this board believed the share price hit the rock bottom at 4.5p & the current share price was simply DETACHED FROM REALITY & I said at the time that there will be a great chance for recovery and to make anything between 50 -300% from that level on positive news.

You on the other hand didn't believe that the sp was oversold and it can show any recovery from that level and you tried to convince everyone on here that intu's shares are worthless and whoever invest here now will eventually lose everything !

Now you say we might see 12p, which is 2.66x times where the share price was yesterday so whats wrong with making 2.5x times your investment within less than two weeks ? ?

- “We’re not ruling anything out,” says Mr Roberts. “We’ve already sold £600m of assets in the past year, but we don’t have a priority list of disposals. We are taking a considered approach to this. We have investors that are interested in talking to us on other capital-raising options. They could include a range of options.”

-“If we had been able to go ahead and raise around £1.5bn from the equity raise, then the balance sheet issues would have been sorted out straight away,

-“We could consider selling stakes in the larger centres, but we’re not rushing to do anything. Even if there is another valuation fall in July then we have remedies on the credit facilities we can take. We’ve had covenant issues before and we’ve dealt with them.”

-"If, for example, Intu’s centres suffered another 10 per cent fall in value, that would create covenant requirements of £113m. It could sell something to cover the bill, or it could refinance its credit facilities."

-When it comes to the centres, we’ve not seen a drop in footfall in the past month. Our rents are going up and have more than enough interest cover on the debt.

-The thing is, there’s a disconnect between the condition of the balance sheet and the operational side of the business. But we’ve got the best portfolio of shopping centres in the UK, and we have a good plan to fix the balance sheet – taking us back to where we started.

Its really simple, I and many other holders on this board think the share price is at the rock bottom & 5p per share is unrealistic and there a good chance for recovery anything between 50 -300% on positive news, you on the other hand don't agree! honestly I really cant understand why you don't sell the shares which you claim to hold before they become "worthless : maybe 0p?! " as you keep hinting. .............. If you dont believe the sp can show some recovery from this oversold level then why do you keep holding a position here and eventually lose the rest of your investment?!!

I totally agree mate and I think INTU postponed the results till after 2020 budget (tomorrow) to reflect any retail positive government changes to the business rates system in the Budget on Thursday news which I expect to include a trading update !

There is no doubt that INTU is under financial pressure but this presents an opportunity for bottom feeders & value traders/investors, we would never get such a cheap entry if the company wasn't under aggressive media and short attacks ...... Whether your plan is to hold for short or long term, bank covenants next tested in July so INTU has 4 more months to ovoid breaching bank covenants & no doubt we will get some positive news over the next few weeks.

[From last week's RNS: I am pleased that a number of alternative options have presented themselves during the process which we will now explore further.

During this process, intu received several expressions of interest to explore alternative capital structures and asset disposals.
Accordingly, intu will continue and broaden its conversations with its stakeholders with a view to discussing the range of options available to the Company to demonstrate the equity value of the business and to utilise its assets to provide further liquidity. These include alternative capital structures and solutions and further disposals. intu will also continue to keep under review the feasibility of an equity raise].

Shorters tried on numerous occasions over the past few days to take the share price under 4.5 but as you probably noticed any available volume on the ASK under 5p got hoovered straight away so the chances of the sahre price settling under 5p is very slim comparing to the small or big sp recovery which we will see with a hint of ANY good news from the company.

Its very important to note that even if a covenant is broken then paying back the bank is not the only option out there, the bank would usually demand penalty interest payments on top of the agreed amount so the business could continue trading while paying off the debt.

*I believe that the company anticipated how the market will react to cancelling the placing so they chosen to drop the bad news, give the market a chance to respond then release the results a week later with a couple of positive updates to support some share price recovery.

I am also expecting INTU's share price to see some recovery on Wednesday if the Chancellor announces a reduction in the business rates: “We are well prepared for this global threat and, as the wider economic picture becomes clearer, we stand ready to announce further support where needed.”

Again, I am not trying to ramp here and I do believe that there will be a bumpy ride ahead but I am not anticipating any bad news coming over the few weeks. The current sp is ridiculously cheap at the moment and technically in the oversold zone so ANY hint of good news will result in a short squeeze :)
