Yes it seems that Cascade are buying in to the project on very favourable terms. The implied project valuation of the Cascade deal is, as you say, a lot lower than the implied project valuation using Pensana's market cap (£310m x 1.35 ($/£) ÷ 42% is approximately $1B).

On this basis I decided to sell for a quick (24 hour!) profit. I was intending to hold much longer but I think management are being overly generous to Cascade. I have used this money to add to my REE position.

Thanks pwlx. That being the case then the project is being valued at approx $1B today. At current prices the ore in the ground is worth around $50B by my reckoning. Seems like a reasonable ratio and subject to likely resource upgrades and price rises of course.

Any comments on my back-of-envelope calculations are welcomed.
