To create open pit would not take 5/8 years and that's what Solg are looking at to sink two shafts ,and once the open pit is started the income starts. What we need from Solg is the final decision on the method of production. To facilitate block cave mining it would take some years to drive the drifts for the ingress and egress .It ain't going to happen in a hurry

The cost would be greatly reduced if Solg decide on Open pit. The time to production would also be greatly reduced

I have not seen any statement supporting the idea Solg wish to sell. Things are moving on and a lot of work going on behind the scenes as with peace with Cornerstone but a long road still to travel
