Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
Me too. Just bought 32013. Are they trying to manipulate this share downwards in spite of the facts?
Manipulation by mms, I guess, in the absence of any significant news. No real problems, seemingly, with fundamentals either, so there will logically have to be an upward revision. I would say that vultures are circling, but Ophir is far from being a dead body. In fact a very attractive take-over target..
Reckon we need to be (unbelievably) patient with this stock. Very overdue reward may well come imho, from some form of merger/bid.There should be some interest with their upside value being considerable..
No, but IMO no major movements in sp until we have more specific news..
Is the recent rise purely leading up to ex div coming up, or do we think sentiment is finally improving?
Suspect that it will be well nigh impossible to put in any buy orders at the opening bell tomorrow. Normal HL message, perhaps until the price has settled at its higher level..
Back in recently at 2.05, 2.00 and 1.95. Waiting for good news in September..
Agree, Davstock, but they have started to pick up (more than 10% recently) and with financing being sorted out and the advent before long of a new CEO, leading to increased dynamism, hopefully, it might not be too long before Ophir might become an attractive take-over target..
With the quarterly update and the fracas about CFO and the big sell, I think the time might now have come for some much needed stability in the SP. This could only be rocked by dramatics at the AGM. Those who are in should stay in, and those who are out should stay out for a while. Long term I am sure this company has excellent prospects.
Open 230, pulling back on quick buck sales, before picking up late in the day to 235
All signs point towards great update on Tuesday. Cannot believe that there will be anything but a sizeable rise tomorrow, as a lot of punters - let alone long term investors - will be thinking that the current sp is either a better gamble than the horses or a sensible play for all seasons..
I agree. Think we are near the bottom now. Possibly some poised to pounce at the right moment..
Yes let the debate be healthy. Words like moron should be banned from this board. All here are interested in the update next week, so lets all be benign hopers..
Thanks, thorpyuk, and always reassuring to read your positive comments. A little confusing still to have a 60p drop in a year full of good results, good advertising, and outstanding management. Next week will hopefully confirm that and energise the sp, as you say.
Freddie, thanks, at last a sensible reply to my question.
Sad that experienced Boohoo crusaders have to pour scorn on any who dont dance to their tune. Online retailing companies have a huge future, if, like Boo, theyre well managed. Next week should confirm hopes..
Thought sp would build towards update, but not concerned, as this is great long term prospect.
Harsh..
As a newbie to this game, can someone explain why a stock can be languishing so soon before an update that so many feel will be exciting? I too am excited about the long-term future of Boohoo, and am an investor averaging 216, but find the tentative recent moves in SP confusing.
