Yes it's true Simon arrived 2 years ago but really do u think he could have stated then and there, "hang on a sec there is valueless stuff here which we need to forget about and get rid of quickly" whilst the CEO was actively talking "everything" up so publicly?
Do we know if he in some way 're-directed limited funds from the assets which weren't going to provide returns "gently" and when Hughie was (finally) gone, got shot of quickly?
We don't but, he could have been?
We could have been in a far worse (further diluted) mess?
One thing I do think I know is and, this was all I was saying, was I don't think he is/was laughing at shareholders.
I think this is an unfair thing to say.
Whether he is the right person to take this company further is an altogether different argument and debate of course.
