Matty, I've been saying since day two or three they never had enough to drill and I think a few others were saying earlier than me as well. That became bloody obvious regardless of what the 'mgt' said. Now I haven't a clue re crystal ball because there are a number of scenarios and I have nothing really to judge against because there is no real experience to compare to, as so often mgt plans change and they don't adhere to time lines? From my perspective dev licence is one of the most important catalysts and this is now out of aex ctrl. I suppose whichever licence is extended first will determine next work plans? I would like to see kn1 remediation but there must be some other reason apart from incompetence that this has not been delivered to date and obviously I'd love to see nt3 or whatever called now, drilled which would be financed by farm down hopefully prior to agm. But as I say nothing surprises me with this team and you lot could still be asking the same questions in 6 months time with nothing (again) achieved but we all know why that is don't we? ( it's so so difficult to do business in Tanzania and everything takes 10 times longer!! LoL!!) And you guys think it's ok to say such generalistic crap then slate others for mentioning about corruption in Tanzania ! All of course imho!

I tell you what CP if some punters on here had posted what a year ago when kn1 first mucked up that there wasn't enough money for nt3 EVERYONE on here would shout them down saying 'oh but they said this and that' and 'they haven't taken it back so it must be true'!! I don't see all those aex mgt supporters who were so so convinced about this coming forward and saying to the doubters that they were right! Just stating....

I know drewky but at the end of the day I wouldn't mind getting shouted at for one day a year to be given loads of shares free and a big salary to boot!! I have a hunch they'll deliver (something) but that's all it is! Best of luck all and as ever imho of course.

Wow busy day today lol. Guys we are where are simply because the mkt doesn't trust Muppet central anymore. They never had any credibility but now no trust to go with it! Which is a shame because whilst disappointed with recent results because they did not yet deliver on the farm out they were not as bad as I expected (except for this calculation error?!). They've got until early to mid June to deliver soon or else we will really see significant sp decline. All IMHO of course!!

When did he promise news in May?! Also that news could be the retraction of the tmp?!

Some of that will be set aside for Erskine repairs?

CP as far as I read it you appeared to be saying there would be benefit because the most if the c1 well would be at a lower equity? I was pointing out this is actually what a farm in is. Ie looking at the figures and sticking my thumb in the air I'd do a 2 4 1 full carry plus back costs deal which would equate to around 1.25mm per percentage point of well and ongoing licence purchased hence AEX DO NOT PAY ANYTHING FOR THE WELL!! I was joking because you kept on referring to a fully risked npv of the project as though it's the be all and end all of asset valuation. BY the way I've just remembered a mate of mine did a contract in either Mozambique or Tanzania. I can't remember which, admittedly he was in operations side of business but, I don't remember him ever complaining about overly beauracratic government so I'm going to give him a call when I can remember and chat about this because, I think all this "oh it's so difficult to do business in Tanzania" is absolutely no different to any other sub sah country! I've worked in war zones and whilst difficult we got the job done through flexibility and compromise. All imho and dyor of course.

CP what do you mean? It will be a full carry in c1 plus back costs? Ie using my example 24% @ 1.25 mm = 30mm which effectively full carries the well for aex remaining equity post farm down, plus 'balance' to back costs?! I hope you included the carry plus reduced equity values correctly in this amazing all singing and dancing NPV/DCF/NAV?!

Swampy this is the first and last time I'll converse but wtgr why on earth are you forwarning all of us evil investors about what is happening? If you're onto such a sure thing why bother even conversing with 'us'? Tommy I do agree and tobrell you the truth thus us the only reason I bought back.in recently. However to be very clear there are a lot of posters on adv historically who would have a lot to say about the new additions. Ironically I only profited from the pci debacle through a fun bet so am 'ambivalent' but I do know a lot of people who got very burnt from let's just say idiosyncratic rns's at the time pci not were completely outplayed by the 'opportunistic' bidders!! Once again all imho and dyor, no investment advice intended. Off now for week end probably so don't take non reply as rudeness.

Tac let's be clear here, TC is bloody brilliant and following him is a good/ great idea. Now to talk of the 'mgt' team at eog in the same breathe well... (chuckle chuckle) I bought eog because of potential in France, UK onshore and potential Irish upside NOT because of mgt. It 'should be' relatively easy to run what is effectively a 'promote' company. Other excellent/'bloody brilliant' mgt teams include sqz, trin, iog where they appear to have great assets AND have great mgt teams. Aex is worth a look but only for the potential assets ie similar to eog. Once again ALL imho of course and absolutely no investment advice intended of course.

I'd only invest if a decent mgt team came with any potential acquisitions. (NOT like canyon of course LOL). They have way more than enough for them to be dealing with efficiently for the moment. All IMHO of course.

Mate wtf? Passive aggressive bullying ffs. You're the one who has been insulting me? I just want to know whether you are genuinely aware of the real risks involved, with investing in small o&g stocks and that they really should only be for fun money or certainly an appropriate part of a weighted portfolio. I've lost count of the amount of people who lever themselves on small oil stocks because they are convinced of their amazing returns, only to lead to continual stress misery anger etc for them and their families? I am certainly not saying this is the case with eog as their mgt appear to have 'got it wrong' so many times now, they've got to get some good luck come their way soon but, don't call me a troll for stating that. I'll leave it at that if you choose not to reply but try to keep the insults to a minimum because people are obviously going to respond to them.
