Well now we know why there has been a seller so consistently recently! When are we going to get real business people running this company. For Christ's sake I'm sure a 'deal' of sorts could have been done with the cafe owners. I realise they rely on local custom etc but the amount ifvtime and money spent so far could have been used for so much better things. All imho of course.

CP wtgr it is not just about farming out such services or u will get shagged I can assure you. At the risk of repeating myself it is about having the expertise on board to manage these out sourced services. Now you know my opinion of that lol!! Know your limitations, something imho aex have been very much lacking in understanding for a very long time hence the relatively low share price return over the many many years they have been 'operating'. All imho of course and no investment advice intended.

Sorry my last message was in response to the discussion around cash levels. Since then conversation moves ahead quickly!! Drewky if aex did discover a large amount of gas that TPDC did not want to pursue for reasons of current extrapolated usage another operator could try and develop a cng market? To be clear even if not possible there will always be buyers for large easily producing onshore gas with a potential low value attached to it but it certainly will have a value and will fit into some companies portfolio?

Absolutely and if they haven't got any cash then they're a little more strapped to accept offer?! By the way don't expect this scenario though but do feel cash will be low hence imho the 'mgt*' looking to their main share holder for help because they misunderstood (totally) the true marketability of their assets!! There is a very sad punter on nuog thread on adv who is constantly doing his best to run the company down (he is banned on lse). I've never seen anything like it, however the point is people probably read a couple of his posts and thinks he's a mad man but he does actually have some real negative points in all the 'bedlam' he creates!! He ha mate I know of an excellent one at $190 k per day recently (Last year in ops) . Market must have really really picked up. Last year I saw received $150 k tenders ie just covering ops costs or only just. Not 6 gen but very similar specs 're mud bops etc. Also quite a few ds have been used WoS? I think they were paying around $650 k back then but may be wrong. I was replying about not being 'suitable' for n sea. Course they are just over specc'd. Anyway dont want an argument just genuinely didn't understand your comment.

Drill ships perfectly suitable for n sea they are the largest and best spec drill vessels? Look at the stena vessels they are incredible: dual operations: dual bops: they were only about 150 k a day last year from about a high of 650 k a day only a few years ago! If we had something like that would be v happy. Much better than the semi BP is using.

Totally agree but don't know how many n sea wells they are drilling this year hence they may want to rig share rather than take up cold rig which could potentially protract things a little? Also not material for them to update mkt and probably the same for sqz (ie they would wait until next ops update probably?!)

Actually not sure becayse it's not an exact science and different rigs become 'fashionable' but it say last year was the absolute bottom? Still fantastic 'value' out there compared to 6 or 7 years ago!!
