Sound Energy
Sound has announced that it has received Moroccan Ministerial approval of the new 8 year Greater Tendrara Petroleum Agreement. CEO James Parsons commented ‘ this secures energy rights to potentially transformational acreage up to 2026’. As a result of this deal Sound holds an operated 47.5% position in the GTPA with partners Schlumberger (27.5%) and ONHYM (25%) holding the rest.

Sound is entering a busy time after a long period of behind the scenes activity from the exploration department. News from the company has exploded in recent months as they gear up to the autumn drilling programme in Eastern Morocco. I am expecting the well TE-9 to spud imminently and with a large group of investors visiting Tendrara this week for the spotlight to return on the company. #drillinginthedesertagain

Sound Energy – Exciting times ahead

The long wait for activity on the ground for Sound shareholders is almost over as the best part of a year’s hard graft by Brian Mitchener and his exploration team is coming to fruition.

Since the middle of the year there has been almost constant news from Eastern Morocco and yesterday’s announcement that the TE-9 rig move is 100% complete at Tendrara is further good news. In addition the FEED and work on gas installations and pipeline work is well under way, almost all at third party cost.

Recently I attended the company’s ‘Deep Dive’ presentation at the Geological Society where a packed lecture hall of over 150 people listened for over two hours as the exploration team went into great detail of their recent activity. For a company like Sound to put on such a detailed analysis of prospects and opportunities is a credit as is the shareholders who attended it.

As I said, activity is now at full speed on the ground and we can expect news on spud dates before too long I assume. With a visit to Tendrara scheduled for later this month and the drill bit set to spin, shareholders can look forward to a resumption of activity in Eastern Morocco very shortly, indeed #excitingtimesahead

Didn't BA state waiting for the remaining assay results before JORC is released
So surely that would be the signal for the next push upwards

I do like the way this is steadily climbing
leaving no gaps to slide back to
Mind you I think a nice 15% rise a day will do me fine- not too quick now

Missing another target date was my immediate thought james.
If they do then the AGM could be a rocky road for them but saying that I don't believe they don't have the assay results yet
Maybe they don't believe the figures!!!
