It tells me they knew something. 30th March when we were down 15%
At last
If we win court case would financing costs be part of the award? If Maxwell had paid we potentially would not of required finance. Surely a decent lawyer could argue the need for finance was due to Maxwell's cash not being in Cpx's bank
Credit moresmash on HBR board
So basically Harbour have not paid the tax but put it as a charge on the accounts, therefore being able to keep the money as free cash flow?
This has therefore then reduced the normal tax payments that exist without the windfall tax and thus keeping our losses for future use? Am I correct?
If so this free cash flows together with Linda's statement about diversifying abroad indicates the money to be used for an aqcuistion at some point
So the government haven't got as much tax as they thought they were going to get?
Hi all. I would encourage anyone thinking about joining up to TD's group to go for it. I joined at the beginning- name, address, broker and number of shares. Details are needed by CPX to verify members are indeed on the register. I have had no spam email, no spam post. TD really just collects that data for CPX, no ulterior motives (that was my biggest concern prior to joining).
How it works - TD pools emails from members concerning CPX and those collective ideas/concerns/questions are then combined and put to CPX at organised meetings.
The upside is we as PI's get to directly communicate with CPX as collectively we are around 10% shareholder, which CPX cannot ignore. TD does a great job in his own time and as a group we can ask questions that otherwise would not get asked.
This is just my view as a "punter" and am happy to be corrected TD. If anyone is considering joining, do it! The only person who can see your emails is TD. The group can't see each other as all emails are BCC
Just to add re the funding "jam tomorrow" statement. As they don't need the funding asap they can take their time to reassess, maybe get a more favourable deal. I would rather the company did that than stick to a rigid "there is your jam, it's cost us more, but you wanted it now"
Good summary mer400. When you think we are just over the placing price for the murta production kit, the share price does not make sense given how far we are from that point. And James yes we have been saying the same for the last 7/8 years but I think the important point to note is we have not been static for 7/8 years. Deals signed, plant up and running new patents pending etc etc. Just look at the Loxus deal that blindsided everyone. I have said it before and will say it again, all the seeds are being sown.
He has upped his rhetoric from "double" to "double or treble"
OS, slight point of correction. I have never stated you enjoy inflicting pain on others. I said you take pleasure in others peoples pain. You stated "Do enjoy winding up the rampers though as they probably cant afford to lose their money".
But hey, I agree life is short and shouldn't be taken too seriously, everyone should enjoy it. Just "play nice"! x
A quick scroll through past RNS show how CPX are writing their future. When you think of what they have achieved during Covid (production facilities moved and setup) in my view was nothing short of a miracle, and if I'm honest was half expecting delays. Collaboration with UNSW and the loxus situation are two perfect examples as to what is happening behind the scenes for the good of the company.
Yes I agree with some that numbers are needed, they will come. I am by no means a ramper, just try to counteract some of the negativity.
If you hold this share surely you believe in the future. All those little pieces are beginning to fit together
JH, OS has already stated he takes pleasure from other peoples pain. What baffles is the fact he and another moan about a drift down, well if they know the future why not sell after a rise then buy back? I suppose that does not suit their narrative.
OS, in a paragraph tell us why you are invested in CPX, and please don't be modest ("big smoke, made it, it's only loose change" ) x
