blocker2 the next well TE-9 is a massive deal to Sound Energy and its investors not to mention Morocco its self........The team JP know way more than has been released in the RNS because they are still trying to finalise as below. The current status is that we are finalising the well location / trajectory / partner approvals. The final processed seismic is still rolling in and we didn�t want to finalise anything until we had it all. The prize here is massive here as you know and if we get it right, and we need to get the next well nailed,unfortunately lack of news has stalled the share price to say the least.

Think Antrim have missed a great chance ! Ten Million, and the oil price reducing by the day ? What now.

Sound has a decent cash position, a very high impact drilling program and assets any mid Cap Company would be proud of coupled to hard working '' get off your arse '' ethics. If you're sitting now as an Antrim shareholder I would be asking, ''do I want to see money sunk into exploration & development or do I want to see the funds burnt on running a company that's doing little to nothing other than keeping the lights on and keeping the lunch diary fully booked?”. I argue that being a part of the future, beats going back to the future....

What we do know from Antrim’s release this week is that it is not showing any interest in accepting the offer pitched by Sound. Antrim shareholders must be seething as the shares are now changing hands significantly below the offer formally made to them. So Mr Antrim CEO what do you intend doing? You have a fair slug of cash, however not enough to progress seriously offshore. Aligning with other offshore Irish players pretty much would tip the balance on the funding sheets. Two companies heavily reliant on a cash injection in this market just would not work, so the safer and more likely option is that the company keeps burning through cash whilst doing diddly squat as does Global Petroleum (GBP) whilst spouting ''we are looking at strategic opportunities to progress to reward shareholders ''. - This is the normal wind and .......flannel we have come to expect from people like you.. These companies will go through the motions of the hustle and bustle of an active exploration company but in reality will sit back paying fees to all and sundry whilst the board is well remunerated for burning cash, causing shareholder depreciation and compounding failure. The value curve has dropped off a cliff in a lemming like manner! I accept that Antrim will give its spin on why shareholders should support the management team but it doesn't take mother Teresa to demonstrate just how charitable this crowd is in rewarding itself. Hang your head in shame Antrim’s board, you have had a fair crack at it and made a royal balls up, move on! By Doc H

Well I think the offer from Sound Oil might at first have been thought a low ball offer, I can see where your coming from Tiptop. Who would sell out to sound Oil for that offer, it's now a buyers market ? I'm afraid that your train of thought re don't produce leave it in the ground will not work for Antrim shareholders as with sound Oil and all other AIM stocks we need cash. So what do Sound Oil gain from the deal,well 10 Mill of course and when Sound develop their Italian assets, they then can then develop Antrim ex assets when the oil price is right. Sound can leave it in the ground until the price of oil is good. What's in it for Antrim share holders well a company with a good management team and prospects and as you know good management comes at a cost. One more thing you will have a chance to get your hard earned back with interest with Sound.
