Seven major offshore wind farms have been given the greenlight to apply for planning permission by the Irish government.

Last week, Cop27 between Europe and the UK to increase cooperation on offshore renewable development.

The eight countries involved in the North Seas Energy Cooperation agreed to a target of at least 260 gigawatts of offshore wind energy by 2050, providing 85 per cent of the EU-wide ambition of at least 300 gigawatts by 2050.

I read that NHS are cutting spending in areas that could affect the company you refer to ( i didn't post it on there). No contracts and no money to fund their burn rate could be very bad for that company with sales. Still watching what goes on but I think a raise is likely before March to keep the lights on.

The first-ever U.S. auction of leases to develop commercial-scale floating wind farms in the deep waters off the West Coast raised $757 million in bids, from mostly European companies.

The auction featured five lease areas — two in northern California and three in central California — about 25 miles off the coast that have the potential to generate 4.5 gigawatts of energy, enough for 1.5 million homes. Combined, the lease areas cover 583 square miles (1,510 square kilometers) of Pacific Ocean.

Obviously local windfarms will be front and centre for Tekmar right now but the opportunities for future contracts seems strong,

Notably the emergency measures on permitting mark the first time that the EU defines in law the expansion of renewables as a matter of overriding public interest.
Europe wants wind energy to generate 43% of its electricity demand by 2030, up from 15% today, in order to strengthen its energy security and maintain affordable power prices for households and businesses. This means increasing Europe’s wind energy capacity from 190 GW today to 510 GW by 2030.
Under the new rules Member States must accelerate permitting for all new wind energy projects. They must now permit repowering projects within 6 months, including the Environmental Impact Assessment and the grid permits.

Agree NE14 I was looking at DB and other offshore windfarm projects and those were the dots that joined up imv, SSE recently cashed up a big chunk equity which my guess will allow them to expand the SSE Renewables side of the business.

Dogger Bank C contract now awarded closely followed by a big name energy investor taking a large position, perhaps bringing additional business in and driving growth sounds good to me.

Interesting to see who comes in and what they will bring to the table....

Yeah I can't touch the miners especially CORZ, I sunk three figures into that one from $6 to $9 and all the way down to $1

I'm ok with watching the BTC miners from the stands for now. Until I see signs of the next bull run or profitability in the miners I'm hands off (I can't afford to get anymore fingers burnt off :)

I still follow the mining space but from a distance and I find sleeping much easier now lol

If it's a Christmas Turdkey i'd like to avoid it but that's not what I see....

I'm pretty certain this list isn't up to date and it doesn't align with the company website but either way II's have a chunk of the very small number shares available...

Presumably they will like the Dogger Bank news (no rude jokes please;)

TBH I have no idea what will happen here but the sp/ MCAP is 10x lower than it was three years ago, with a couple of big deals landed in a growth sector so I'd say it's a good thing but wtfdik.
