Now, England's chief medical officer has admitted: "There are certainly some quite significant things we got wrong at the beginning of COVID."
Speaking at the annual conference of the Royal College of GPs in Liverpool, he warned of tough months ahead for the NHS as it battles COVID, flu, other viruses and the usual winter problems such as trips and falls.
He said: "In terms of where COVID will go over the winter, well I think the winter as a whole, I regret to say, is going to be exceptionally difficult for the NHS.

Without doubt Sharkie mate....ExMS dropped his guard last night and I could see it was a certain poster. All we can do is report to the moderators to get rid of these people.

Unfortunately, there is one poster that has destroyed any constructive discussion on this BB. It’s unbelievable how this has caused so much disruption and angst. I believe that UnitedGuy, ExMS and UnitedGal are the workings of one individual. It’s really sad that we can’t even properly discuss something we are invested in without one of these trolls being disruptive.
I hope there is a positive update soon so these posters can disappear. I wish all LTH and those invested the best of luck. Come on MD give us something to smile about!
