OWLS, look at the chart with previous fluctuations, then compare to PM prices, then factor in money printing/inflationary pressures, then factor in results, current financial position, production pipeline...I say this is cheap.

The thing is that FRES is now dissociated from PM prices. I guess the SP will continue to be under pressure until results - after that, assuming they come in as expected, I would not want to be short.

Gold has had its day?? Err no, just look at the charts.

It's pretty nuts, however if the results are half as good as we expect then whoever accumulates at these prices will do well.

Rocko - it'll get back there. At this price pretty much everyone is underwater here.

I am a pretty straightforward value trader. I try to find undervalued stocks and get them near their bottom, then ride them back up.
Everything about FRES is screaming 'accumulate, hold and wait': PM prices high and holding, margins high, good production pipeline, small free float increasing volatility, debt pretty much sorted long term.
The whole sector is depressed and that makes me bullish!

Whatever happens medium term with the dollar/inflation/interest rates/yields the simple fact is that FRES has significantly diverged from the price of the assets it mines and sells. There is now a significant gap which will be filled at some point either way and my guess is this will recover to well over £10 before long.
I have put my money where my mouth is.

Just look at the 5yr chart and compare to PM prices - unless something cataclysmic happens this will correct in time.

A panicky day with people running for the hills (US 10 yr yield down 7% currently) but PMs bearing up pretty well. It's an environment where they can start to shine.
