Do you have any interest in IMB, GSK or SSE? I sold GSK yesterday before ex-dividend today. I’m only going to rebuy GSK IF <1500p, though would consider topping up the LGEN holding of £11k with £13k or maybe buying IMB? Views would be great.. I understand the debt burden that IMB has, and also that future growth of GSK is dependant on changes. Or I buy SSE and hope it gains groundback to 1350+p? Atb

That’s what I’m thinking too, so I have 29 days to rebuy with no CGT. let’s hope we get some sort of shunt, maybe another 5% off by end of August..

The reason is quite obvious it’s going sideways, as there are value stocks anywhere, with too much risk at stake with EU issues.. Go and chill out and come bs m next year:-)

I believe Merkel will do everything possible to help keep the trade deal with UK good. I see a 25% chance of a #NO DEAL happening As for seeing 1380-1350 is a LONG way off, maybe next year.. The VIX at present is down again today to 10basis points, not seen since Dec 2017. This means consumer confidence is somehow positive. British bulls still remain LONG here. 1700p maybe by October!!

As GSK goes ex-dividend imminently on Thursday, has anyone thought of the scenario of GSk dropping only 19p then going North on with the FTSEs Futures. Currently FTSE FUT over next two day look very rosy.. I would only rebuy if it were to drop at least 5-10% seems pointless selling on Thursday with current direction. Just my own opinion..

On Bloomberg today, Brazil, Argentina & Uruguay were mentioned. Analysts said that Latin America’s largest economy needs to export more value added goods to remain competitive. I’m a buyer of these tomorrow. I currently hold BRWM, HFEL, SOI, STS, MUT, MYI and MRCH
