Tarry you are quite correct the total remuneration is $423kUSD that relates to £325kGDP and Apache was quoting it as GDP which is totally INCORRECT.

Not trying to re-open this one guys, I am no happier than anyone else on this but if the figures are going to be thrown up then they should at least be the correct ones and when the increase equates to £40k it most certainly should not be put out that is £150k. We wouldn't want anyone getting the wrong impression now would we. :0))

Sadly GL many are basing their underperformance view on just one year. Just over eighteen months ago we had none of what we have now to look forward too. Back then it was an explorational pipe dream.

Now we have a clear route to monetisation within a reasonable time frame of the next eighteen months and lot's to happen in between that could further boost the market value. There are still the exploration pipe dreams to be had where if oil is found in commercial quantities where targeted, then the sp will explode 4QTR 18 - 1QTR 19. 3D over Kiliwani Nyuni could also produce massive uplift 2019

It seems will have a little misinformation being touted here overnight.

The figures being quoted of £324k are ARE INCORRECT and the figure is actually $325k which equates to approx. £249k and that is an enormous difference.

That however is the cash element. The annual bonus and pension contribution are both DOWN!!

If you look at the total package it has has effectively risen from £285kGDP to £345kGDP to a difference of just £40k and not £115k as those touted figures would indicate or the outrageous claim of £150k!

Effectively this increase is around 13%

When you consider that the average boardroom rises to August this year have been reported at 11% and that this BoD are awarding this on the basis of catch up with the industry they are in, then they are surely no better or worse than other boards who take the cream off the top.

I'm not debating whether the rises is justified or not and I certainly think it was at the very least bad timing by the board but if people are going to shout them down then they should at least do it on the correct figures

It was mentioned earlier in the year that the government had suggested mergers of licence but we weren't told which at the time.

Just been reading about Kibo Energy awaiting the approval from Tans Gov. Seems they are in same boat. They want mine Coal and us drill for Gas/oil. Considering Magafuli has been promoting a switch to cleaner fuel. I think if I were a shorter I might find a better opportunity over there but interestingly they have just signed a deal with GE to become technology supplier. Interesting to see who will get the nod first? Can GE swing it for them before the Zubs do for us?
