Jdosso, The public holidays list I'm looking at have Monday 25th March 2024 as a public holiday for Southern Africa liberation day.
Today was a bank holiday in Angola so no chance of us receiving an RNS. Friday is also a bank holiday
Rock, totally agree. As soon as the wells reached touchdown they announced they would be going into Early Production. No waiting on flow rates. They were clearly extremely impressed by what they encountered during drilling. You don't announce Early Production if you have any doubts.
ED, Thanks for the reply. Chris
Ed, quick question. Petrofina extracted 29million barrels from the reservoir in the 60,s/70,s. 65mlion barrels were thought to remain. With re equallibrium, pressures seemingly returning to there original state and the possible migration of oil back into the reservoir do you think the reservoir could now contain circa 94 million barrels which the reservoir originally contained before Petrofina began extraction?
ED, Quick question. Re reading yesterday's RNS. It mentions when Petrofina originally drilled the reservoir, well T04 having produced oil eventually encountered water and was closed. From yesterday's RNS no water was encountered and the reservoir seems to have re equilibrated with the pressures returning to there original state. I am no expert but would this suggest the reservoir has replenished itself with oil from the surrounding area flowing in to it ? The field originally produced 29 million barrels. 65 million barrels were hoped to remain to be produced when we started drilling. Is it possible/likely from info on the RNS that the re equibrillation means that although 29million barrels were removed, 29 million barrels have flowed into the reservoir and replaced that taken. Bit long winded ED but hopefully you get the gist namely that we might well have 29 million more barrels of oil than originally thought.
Didn't know I could block the AD,s. Will have a look into that
ED, I know you,ve been asked before but you,d be such an asset on Telegram group. 140 keen investors would really appreciate your imput. I personally would really like you on there. LSE is a pain. So many adverts all over the screen I'm sure I miss some of your posts
F1Driver, I am in total agreement. The SP is laughable, a mere fraction of what the oil from this well is worth. Anyone selling out for the crumbs the SP is currently offering need their heads examining. Get a grip of yourselves people .I hope to see the SP adjust to truly reflect the value of what we have over the coming days weeks. We should be way,way higher for goodness sake
Thanks for that Ed. You,ve confirmed my take on it which is we have an oil field seemingly extending 1.3 km,s from T 13 to T 14. If that's correct it's huge in my opinion.
Torino, you need to install the Telegram app. Might be in your Play Store or you may have to download it. Once you,ve got the app, open it and search Corcel plc, complete your details and you,re in. Very straightforward as I remember.
Dicko, you,ve put some work in there mate. Well laid out, very factual. Well done. Appreciated 👍
Evy, Use the Telegram app. Might be in your Play Store or you may have to download it. Then just search Corcel plc . Enter your details and you,re there.
SP71, Great find mate. Well done. Corcel now have big ambitions. Onwards and upwards. GLA
Ed, I didn,t realise how massive the Tobias field was until it was mentioned that the the T 13 rig was being moved 1.3km to drill T 14. I naively thought they,d put the next well down maybe 50/100 metres from the first.
An agreement has been signed with a Chinese company to build a new refinery.
Cheers for that. Chris
Ed, What's your take on the current share price. The well results seem to have exceeded our expectations but reaction by the market very muted to say the least. Head scratcher.
Ed, I am wondering if you give an idea of the value of the oil from current well to Corcel. I e How much are Corcel likely to make from each barrel? Ps. I know Nige has encouraged you to move to the other board. I would like to do the same. Your input and knowledge would be appreciated.
Welcome aboard Jonny. You mentioned you were offshore, I take it you,re in the oil industry. What made you invest in Corcel ?
